Three Little Pigs Masonry

Despite an initial miscommunication, the owner of Three Pigs, David called to say they would be completing all the work they quoted for, earlier this year. I really appreciated this call and their efforts to honour their quote and commitment. I look forward to working with them in the next few weeks.

Extremely disappointed with this company. Had contacted them earlier this year (based on Homestars reviews) for 2 jobs ; Stucco Repair and Masonry for front steps. After the Independent company they recommended for Stucco looked over our place, it took a couple of reminders and almost a week for him to send us a quote. It took me a day to respond to his question on whether I would be able to pay him by cash or cheque. He emailed and said he was not taking the job as I had failed to respond to his question about payment and I should contact someone else because he had accepted another job. Extremely unprofessional given that he had a week to send me the quote and I couldn't take a day to respond. Even though I asked him to give me another date and offered to pay him in whichever manner he preferred, he declined to take the job. I informed Three Pigs of this experience and they were suitably apologetic. They recommended someone else but being the busy season, and my repair not a very large/lucrative job, we were unable to get it done. I had also received a quote from Three Pigs for masonry work on the front steps. Due to the delay in the stucco work, all other projects were delayed. We contacted them on 23 Sept to ask if the quote they had sent to us on May 11 was valid. Barbara from their office wrote back the same day and assured us it was and that she would send us a contract and that their project manager Robert would be in touch. Incidentally there was no date of validity on the quote. After repeated reminders via email/phone for the contract we finally heard back on on Oct 6 saying they could not honour the price on the quote. Will never use them again and nor would I recommend them.
