Three Little Pigs Masonry

My front porch, front exterior and side wall foundation was in need of a repair. I found Three Little Pigs Masonry on Homestars and picked them based on their excellent reviews. Dave and Barbara provided me a fair quote and described to me in detail the job that would be done. I especially want to give a BIG THANK YOU to Rhett and Dominic who are truly great guys and masters at their craft. They answered any questions or concerns that I had, and the job took about four working days to complete. The final product of grinding off all the residue, parging and sealing all came together like a work of art! And the clean up at the end was excellent. I'm very pleased with the outcome and would recommend this company to my family and friends.

I can’t say enough good things about this company. From initial dealings with Barbara and David through the completion of the work I was exceptionally pleased with the whole process. The crew, comprised of Danny and Josh, were phenomenal. They tackled each issue with the highest level of precision and went above and beyond when a few additional areas of concern were discovered. The final product is fantastic, and most importantly my home is now protected from the weather and any unwanted pests. Dave & team did a large-scale stone refacing for us 2017, and we are still very satisfied with the result. We had some light mortar cracking over the last couple years, which was recently addressed by Rhett - who was very cordial, courteous and took time to explain the gameplan (ie tuckpoint repair). The finished product again looks great. We appreciate the continued service & follow-up.

Requested a quote from Three Little Pigs on repairing the cracks in our front porch concrete steps which was causing rain leakage into our cold room below. David was kind enough to respond to our inquiries and, after reviewing pictures we sent plus googling our property, advised us that unless we wanted to replace the steps and adjoining brickwork, it would be more cost efficient for us to simply fill in the cracks with sealant. Since we can't afford to rebuild the steps and brick work at this time, we will be going with the more economical remedy which quite honestly, we may be able to do ourselves.
It is rare that a company doesn't want to profit from a job and offers an honest appraisal of the situation. I would not hesitate to recommend this company due to the fact that they actually seem to care about homeowners with problems whether they are being paid or not.

Our porch needed to be resealed. Aidan completed the job in two days and did a wonderful job. We were very satisfied and will use Three Little Pigs again for any masonry work. We have already recommended the company to friends.

Thanks David giving his professional opinion on the findings of my home inspection report. The lintels were replaced in a day and everything was nicely done. A big thank you to all the Three Little Pigs' team, you guys did a very great job!

Three Little Pigs Masonry (“TLPM”) came to repair and parge our exterior foundation (above grade), including fixing a corner of our foundation that was cracked, and repairing our front porch and steps; finishing it all off with a coating and sealant that matched in colour all around.

I appreciated how quickly Barbara replied to my initial request form, and how responsive and knowledgeable David (the owner) was to all my questions and concerns during the quote process. The work force, Aidan, Rhett, and Danny were very timely, affable, and professional; working hard throughout the days and addressing all my questions along the way. The work took about 4 days from start to finish.

I was even more impressed with how quickly they came back to me to address some slight imperfections and some questions I had on the corner they fixed. Thank you Barbara for replying to my emails (going above and beyond to reply during the long weekend), to David for taking the time to review, and to Rhett for coming back right away to remedy and making sure everything was resolved and to my satisfaction.

Overall, I am very happy with the finished product as I had wanted to address all the wear and tear on our porch and foundation walls (as well as repairing all my amateur work when I tried to fix the cracks myself) before moving on to doing our landscaping. The house looks 100% refreshed now. My neighbours and visiting family have already commented on how everything looks great and new.

For future concrete/masonry needs, I will definitely reach back out to TLPM. Also, I would be very happy to recommend TLPM to my neighbours and anyone else.

Rhett and Aidan did an amazing job for us. I was out of my comfort zone and they were very patient in explaining what they were doing and going beyond expectations. Sometimes we live with things a little too long because we don't know the process to get it done. While the quoting was done via email (I do not recommend doing that again) as soon as Rhett and Aidan showed up they walked us through the job and got straight to work fixing hairline cracks, corner pops and re-parging the entire foundation. The results look fantastic. Rhett's work on the tuck-pointing was exceptional. Colour matched our existing mortar in most places where it is almost impossible to tell any work had been done. We had JUST had our windows re-chaulked and he was able to precisely work around everything. On top of everything else they were just great, friendly people. Weather will tell us if the work holds up but from what I saw I am confident it will. I would definitely recommend them.

Three little Pigs completed my foundation parging three years ago, and they did a great job.A few issues surfaced and they needed to be reparged. Because of Covid they were not immediately available, this was understandable, they did however keep in touch during this time. Rhett from TLP came out the other day and has now resolved the issues beyond my expectation. Rhett was friendly, an organized worker and did an excellent job. I would recommend TLP for your next job.

From the outset of our project David and Jesse were excellent to work with. They listened to our design requests and the quote we were given was very competitive. After the project began we ran into an issue with the city urban forestry office, which resulted in a significant delay to the schedule. Throughout the entire process David went above and beyond to assist us in getting the project back on track and was more than accommodating to work with the timelines we were dealt by the city. They were on budget, competent and the quality of the work far exceeded our expectations in the finished product. From start to finish they never deviated from the agreed work, and even went beyond the scope of work while we were waiting for last-minute permits to ensure the yard was in an acceptable state in the interim. Highly recommend them for anyone with masonry work to be done, you definitely will not find better anywhere! Could not be happier!!
