Willy, the owner provided attentive, hands-on service. Despite being super busy with pool requests/orders as Covid-19 restrictions lifted, Willy was responsive in coming to inspect our 9-year old pool, ordering the liner and installing it promptly. The quality of work and attention to detail were top notch!

Called 3 times to set up an appointment for pool repairs to only have then not show up on the scheduled day and not call to cancel. When I spoke to the woman who answered she actually argued with me and then said 'we got busy'. Are you kidding me! Terrible customer service and would not recommend them to anyone. I decided to not reschedule and go with another pool company. If your looking for kayak pool parts got to pool.supplies.com they are also cheaper.

Willy, Naz, Justin, and everyone at Kayak has been great to work with throughout the entire process. Even when some things didn't work out as expected, or there were last minute changes, Willy and Naz were there doing their best to make things right. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking to install a Kayak Pool. My only suggestion to the customer, with no reflection on Willy, is be as specific as possible from the start on what you want installed so he can order or put together the right parts the first time around.

WIll the owner was very nice until after the pool was installed and we had some liner lea issues, he finally sent someone to look they said we needed a new liner and as it was not exactly on the seam it wasn't covered (1 year old) but not a big deal "just patch it" 2 years later these leaks were everywhere, he said finally he would order a new liner however by following year on removing the winter cover the the pool had "imploded" the sides buckled and the liner ripped to shreds from the weight completely unusable! That is when Willy refused to take any responsibility for the 25 warranty on the structure of the pool, an alternate pool company assessment said it was improperly installed we agree! now I have no pool, $10,000 less and I have to pay to either rebuil (another 9,000) or fill it in! STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN AND KAYAK POOLS!!! They don't know what they are doing and they will cost you money and grief!

I purchased a pool liner which they installed 3 years ago and it was to have up to 30 year warranty and I called today because the liner ripped at the seam and they stated it was not under warranty

- we had an old 'Kayak Pool' which needed refurbishing

- contacted a Kayak pool dealer in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada and their owner,Willy, advised us they could rebuild our pool for $5692 and it would be as good as new so we signed a service order

- pool was rebuilt in the fall of 2010 with the new liner , which we ordered from them , to be installed in the spring of 2011

- they came with the wrong liner in the spring of 2011 so they returned a few weeks later with the proper liner

- correct liner was installed and we ordered water at a cost of approx $360.00 - to us but liner was installed badly with many wrinkles and numerous rocks under liner floor

- after many phone calls and a site visit they agreed to replace the liner properly in the fall of 2011

- new liner , which came with a one year warranty , was replaced in Sept 2011 and water added again at a cost of approx $360.00 - to us

- shutdown the pool in late fall of 2011

- when we went to open the pool in the spring of 2012 we noticed the water level was much lower than when we closed it but thought it might be evaporation as the winter was warm and pool cover had ripped and so we added more water at a cost of approx $240.00 to us

- all the water leaked out of the pool in less than 24 hours as there was a rip in the seam of the new liner

- after numerous calls and emailing photos of the ripped seam - which we had to find ourselves as they would not do a site visit , they agreed it was a manufacturers defect and would supply a new liner but that I had to pick it up myself - a 2.5 hour drive each way. They would not pay to have the replacement liner installed nor would they pay for replacing the water

- when picking up the liner the owner of 'Canadian Recreational Products' expected me (a senior citizen) to carry it out to my car with no help - I refused so he reluctantly did it himself

- after this nightmare and still facing an approx $1000.00 cost for liner installation and water replacement we , with regret, scrapped the pool

Kayak provided very poor after sale service. Pool was not the right depth (despite paying an upgrade fee), equipment was missing and/or the wrong type and we played '20 questions' with them throughout the installation and afterward just to get basic information about opening, heating, cleaning and closing the pool. The only time they displayed a sense of urgency was when it came to getting their installment payments! We also ended up doing some of the work ourselves (e.g. moving the panel which they put in the wrong place). For first time pool owners, the entire process was very frustrating.

These guys do my pool maintenance. They are pretty good, but sometimes it is difficult to get someone out to my house, they charge quite a bit, and they have not always successfully resolved the problem. Nonetheless, they are good and I would recommend them.
