Tom B. sounded knowledgeable and gave good recommendations around the house. He has a very sharp eye and could pickup even the slightest issues. The inspection took more than 2 hours. Will highly recommend Tom to my friends.

Inspector found a couple things but did not mention things like garage door opener on extension won't pass inspection or to have an ESA (electrical) inspection done. Was more interested in hitting on my agent who recommended the company to begin with. ESA inspection and code repairs cost me over $500. Contacted Pillar to Post Kitchener for comment when ESA inspection was recommended by new inspector to buyers. Should I have concerns based on the inspection they did and they didn't even reply back!!
Go else where for home inspection. Message me and I'll give you the info on the guy my buyers used!

We were referred to Pillar to Post thinking the owner Chad is a reputable source as he done seminars with Real estate brokers about water risk to look for in homes. The home inspection process started out good as he explain what he was looking for in regards to his moisture reader readings behind walls. The overall home inspection was pretty straight forward and Chad answer all our concerns with this older home so I give his professional expertise a 9 star. However his assistance which is his wife is not as helpful as we expected. Whenever we try to get a hold of Chad we had to go through his assistant. We had some concerns about the sewer backup system and needed to clear our mind in hope of Chad return our phone call. We had left multiple messages with her in hope that Chad return our phone call before we sign off on home inspection condition. We understand that home inspectors are busy but it's not difficult to return a phone call at 9pm like his assistant had promised. I wouldn't recommend this company service due to bad customer service.

Andrew. B. did home inspection for us - he did a good job and gave us a binder with all the info on our house including recommendations on things to be fixed and their urgency. We are a young family and the price was a little high but you get what you pay for!

He was very professional, detailed/thorough, punctual, produced a comprehensive report on the spot, showed photos from each inspection area, explained the issue and how to resolve it, safety oriented, educating, polite and friendly.

I will definitely be hiring his service when we buy again in the future, and recommend him and the company to anyone prospecting a home or building in the marketplace.
