Simon, Moe, you guys have transformed my living room from the early 1900's original hard wood to a modern beautiful sexy living space. We were looking specifically for hardwood flooring, Simon showed us Small Leaf Acacia flooring, with pictures from previous installations and were in love. Our home went from squeaks, bounces and hardwood nails to Noo more squeaks, No more flex and rock solid floor with a rock solid finish.

Moe took the time to make sure we were satisfied with the job, and even went above and beyond to stain the separator from our living room to our kitchen to create the appearance of a smooth transition. Nothing was over looked, even the tiling job was perfect. WE could not be happier with their craftsmanship.

With out a doubt I will be calling Simon to redo our second floor when the time comes.

Not to mention, that Simon's prices were the best prices in all of our calling and estimates.

We had our carpets installed on our stairs and basement. Simon was great, he got back to us right away and he was informative. The only issue I had was at the time of the installation, they did not have some parts readily available which was fine however we had to follow up a few times to make sure that they were going to complete the job. Also they left some pieces of wood (they had sharp nails sticking out) around, which was dangerous since we have 2 young children.

We recently renovated a home from top to bottom and used Floorama for our flooring needs. We liked that Floorama is a one stop shop and we were able to deal with one company for hardwood, tiles, carpet and stairs. Being first timers in the renovation game, we experienced many trades and Floorama is one of the only ones that we can say without a doubt that we would use again. Simon was friendly, honest and professional and we always felt that he took a personal interest in our project.

Floorama Flooring did our hardwood flooring throughout our house as well as tiles for our entrance and kitchen. They also removed the carpet on the stairs and put in hard wood. We got brand new spindles on the staircase. The stairs were beautiful. They also put some laminate flooring in our basement. They did great work and finished right on time.

I have recently had the great opportunity to hire Simon to do the hardwood floors and the tiling in my house. Simon and his team did a wonderful job. They followed the design perfectly, were very professional and left the house in great condition. I would highly recommend him to anyone who asks and will work with him on other future projects, including one starting this week. Thank you Simon. I hired Floorama to install hardwood floors and baseboards in a house I was gutting top to bottom. They did the hardwood floors Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs. Then, on Thursday afternoon, I got a call at work to say that they were leaving my house unfinished because they couldn't put the baseboards in until the doors were done (doors had no casings/trim at the time).
Simon kept explaining to me why the door-trim needed to go on first: I understood it after the first explanaition. What I couldn't understand, and what he never explained to me, is why they never mentioned it on Mon, Tues, Wed, or Thurs morning (or the week before when Simon and I walked through the house to discuss plans....no doors on then either). I could have had someone finish it on the Tues/Wed if they had said something. Then they blamed me for not knowing I had to have the door frames finished (if I was an expert, I wouldn't need to hire you guys!).
AND... one of the guys went home with the spare key that all contractors shared, and it didn't get returned for 48 hours!!! By which point 2 other contractors had been locked out for 2 days, and set the whole project back timewise. Did they apologize? No.
And, they didn't finish staining the floor boards at the top of the stairs. Simon promised to drop off the stain the next day so I could finish it myself. He didn't. I emailed him a few days later to remind him. He said "I'll drop it off today." That was a week ago, and I have still never received it. And, I have a basement full of baseboards that I will have to install myself.
They seemed like nice guys, but in my opinion not very competent, and no care about following up or disrupting other people's work schedule.
We had 8 different tradesmen/companies for the reno. 6 out of 8 were good, so we were lucky. Floorama was one of the 2 bad ones. I would randomly call someone from the phone book before calling Floorama again.

I really like that Simon comes to your house with all the samples. You don't have to go from store to store figuring out what you need. He brings it all to you. He shows up on time and gets the job done on schedule. He is great.

My husband and I just purchased a new home and had 7 days to re-do the floor and stairs before moving in. We are thrilled with the finished product. Simon was absolutely great to deal with - friendly, responsive, efficient and delivered on his commitments. We would absolutely use Floorama again and recommend this company to anyone re-doing their floors.
