Michael and his team at Thompson Construction are EASILY THE BEST CONTRACTORS we have ever had the pleasure of working with. They're efficient, meticulous, knowledgeable, punctual, hardworking, and thoroughly professional. There is never any shortage in communication; we knew exactly what the goal for each day was. Perhaps most importantly, they were able to very quickly earn our trust. Not only were they able to execute flawlessly, they also provided expert advice. Even when we added to the scope of work, they were able to nimbly adjust.

The project was to remove multiple load bearing walls to create an open concept main floor. This involved structural demolition, metal beam installation, pouring concrete, framing work, drywall installation, tiling, hardwood installation, staining and painting. The end result is stunning and somehow even beyond our expectations!

Based on how well this project went, we've already started additional projects with Thompson Construction. We've definitely found our "forever" contractor and recommend them without any reservation.

We had approached Thompson Construction in April this year (2023) concerning our project we had in mind. We received design ideas and project estimates quickly but needed to hold off until the summer. Micheal was very accommodating and was able to work with our timeline. The job included the full landscaping of the backyard as well as the side yard up to the sidewalk. The project was completed on time and done with the professionalism that was expected. The backyard was regraded and a water management system put in place to control water pooling and runoff. Interlocking retaining wall and patio was put in was well as a deck box pad. As well, electrical outlets were installed further out in the yard to accommodate a water garden and the hardware needed to run the system. His crew also helped pull out the old water garden and gave me a leg up on rebuilding it.

All in all, I highly recommend Michael and his team for your construction needs. The crew he has brought together is great and I expect to use he again for future projects.

Michael's team was very quick to properly drill the hole for my Kitchen stove vent exhaust. They were able to get it done within an hour.
They even made sure that the job was done precisely to my specifications, and provided me tips on how to further connect my range hood to the exhaust.
