It was recently brought to our attention that our flatroof was in horrible shape and was in desperate need of repair. We purchased this house in December 2008 and was told that the roof was done in 2001, so I pulled out the receipt that the previous owners left for us and my husband called the company. Well, the conversation did not last more than 5 minutes, but it was filled with verbal abuse and foul language... all from the owner of J. Asselin Roofing. My husband repeating asked why he was so upset and calmly explained that he had only called to inquire and have someone come look at the roof since it was still covered under the 10 year warranty listed on the invoice. The owner continued to yell at my husband and then hang up on him. I have seen various reviews online for this company and I can now see that this is how he treats most people that call there and question his work.
