Hired on agent's recommendation and even he was shocked at the high quote. On the plus side, the listing pictures looked great and the styling was good-- no complaints about their skill with staging. On the negative side: expensive, unprofessional, lots of damage following take down, most items in shabby condition. I had to request replacement of a couple of items that were at eye-level and in bad shape (chipped, scuffed), fabrics were threadbare and unravelling (I trimmed loose strands myself), underlining of some furniture was hanging down visibly (they had duct taped some areas so were aware of the issue). The movers seemed to have no idea what they were doing and had a long, loud conversation with lots of swearing in front of myself and my child. During set up, they were about to walk through the house in wet shoes-- I asked but they had never heard of shoe covers. The sofa selected was way too big for the entrance and they took ages to figure out how to get it in the space. I was not there for take-down and when I went to check, they had taken several wall corners off down to the metal plates. Also heard from my neighbours that they brought all of the backyard furniture out through the house rather than going around as they were asked to do-- there were leaves and garden debris all over the basement carpet as well as shoeprints. Had to do a lot of repairs and cleaning after they left. They used huge nails to hang pictures everywhere-- some were so hard to remove that they just left them in the walls for me to deal with. With all of the non-damaging options out there, not sure why they would do this. In general, I felt they treated me and my house with no respect. It looked good from a distance when staged, but not really sure it was worth the cost. If you hire them, suggest being there to oversee damage, movers, quality of items. Also suggest trying to get multiple quotes even if your agent recommends them.

Where to Start. We hired this staging company on a recommendation from our agent (we don't blame them). Wow, this company was stunningly unprofessional and ridiculously poor in expertise. Our house actually sold itself (literally sold in 12 hours of being on the market). We hired them to primarily stage our second floor. They quoted us 5k, which we were surprised at initially, but accepted eventually. What a mistake. Their first attempt was such a disaster. The house was a modern home, but accentuated the natural age of the house (it had been fully reno'd). We expected to see some thought and planning with the 2nd floor bedrooms - but that is so far from what we got. It was embarrassing. Our own agents where amazed at how bad it was. We had to delay the listing by 3 weeks because it had to be re-staged. Their staff had no professionalism with our house, no respect of our property. They smashed a sculpture (that was literally irreplaceable) and didn't have the decency to apologize, or even inform us!! They kept their shoes, as they worked through the house - little things but so upsetting. I could not say enough negative things about our experience with this company....just do not ...do NOT use them.

Kim provided me an excellent staging and layout for my house before putting it on the market for sale.

I have no doubt the hosue will be sold shortly.

Stage Right did a superb job of recommending work needed to prepare the condominium unit for sale. The suggestions included painting, flooring treatment and appliance and fixture enhancement. The fact that we received an offer that was substantially above our asking price is in no small way due to their staging skills. The unit showed beautifully and we had numerous positive comments on both the quality of materials and the way the design choices worked so wonderfully. We would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone.

Exceeded our expectations across the board. Staged the house in a fast, efficient and professional manner, and the house sold in 5 days. We are now going to hire them to help setup our new home!!

The end result looked great but the service is terrible. They were 2 hours late arriving and rushed around panicking and overall were quite rude. I was excited to experience professional staging and it was a disappointment.

Overall, a very good home staging company. Could be more responsive to phone calls and email messages and could have been a little more prudent with the way things were hung on the wall as part of the staging. Otherwise, a very good home staging company although definitely an not inexpensive undertaking.

I am selling a high end condo and needed to "fine-tune" the interior. Stage right provided a free consultation. What they said made sense and I contracted them to re-do 2 rooms and provide some additional furniture. On the day of the staging a team of 4 people showed up, all of them totally committed to the process and contributing ideas. The result is phenomenal and they even returned the next day to swap out something they weren't happy with. If it's not perfect it's not good enough. Thanks Carmen, Toby and team!
