REQUESTED CASH ON THE SPOT FOR BOTH MY NEIGHBOUR AND I , PRODUCT AFTER DRYING WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND COMPANY WOULD REFUSE TO COME BACK AND SEE JOB FOR BOTH OF US. EXPECTED CASH ON THE SPOT CLAIMING IT SAVED US 500.00 PER DRIVEWAY IT DRIED WITH VERY LITTLE TAR, ALLOT OF ROCK AND AND NOT THE GRADE FOR DRIVEWAYS BUT BASE FOR ROADS. TO DATE THEY BLOCK OUR NUMBERS, WILL NOT RETURN OUR CALLS AND NEVER RETURNED TO SEE THE BAD JOB AND UNSETTLING FINISH NOT FLAT. I HAVE TRIPPED ON BUMPS LEFT. BEWARE NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY.

Workers are violent and confrontational. Left the street a complete mess. Very unprofessional and unsafe. Poor quality work that seemed to drag on for weeks.

Rushed, not completed work. Came one day earlier than scheduled in late afternoon and left place dirty with buckets of pure dirt on the driveway and pushed to the road that was not removed. Will never recommend this team and will never hire again. I had to ask a few time to rewash my house. garage that was covered with dirt. The driveway was never cleaned and I had to do it by myself. Kept asking me for payment when the job not completed ( not sealed on the first day and in the morning). Bad work ethics.

NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY. THEY MISREPRESENT THEIR WORK. THEY DO UNDER QUALITY WORK. THEY DID NOT FINISH THEIR CONTRACT AND DID A SHABY JOB AS WELL AS WRECKING GOOD WORK AND PUTING IN THE WRONG MATERIAL. RUDE, IMPOSSIBLE TO DEAL WITH AND VERY EXPENSIVE DEMANDING CASH. TOTAL CONTRACT MISREPRESENTATION. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SEVERELY REPROMANDED. I WILL NEED TO SUE THEM IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT TO GET SOME OF MY MONEY BACK.

Fair warning to anyone considering hiring Empire Contracting. They were unprofessional, rude and incompetent. They used my address as a meeting point to work on other projects and didn't bother to work on my property on many occassions. They tried to drywall over a wall without insulating and using the wrong drywall around the shower. They were also using non-trades for skilled work. My home was a disaster as they didn't enclose rooms with plastic when sanding walls and I had wipe down my belongings almost daily. The dust got everywhere. I approached the contractor and asked him to be more careful, he replied by saying "this is a construction site", I said, "no, this is my home". I finally built up the courage, mid way through the project and asked them to pick up their tools and not come back. Shortly thereafter, I hired [another company] and the project was completed in a professional and timely mannner.
