Worst experience

If I could give Lucvaa Kitchens 0 stars I would. We recently renovated our kitchen and used Lucvaa for design and custom cabinetry based on a family members recommendation. We have had multiple problems and despite trying to address these with Lucvaa and not resort to online reviews, there has been no ownership and a total lack of response from them. I have called and emailed multiple times and nobody responds.

I sent the following email:
Hi Debra and Aza,
I just want to be 100% honest and upfront that I do not feel these issues have been resolved to my satisfaction and my reviews of Lucvaa will reflect that. I would love for us to work together to resolve what I feel have been avoidable issues but it seems you are more focused on whose “fault” it is.
This is why I would have preferred not to pay the full amount until the job was completed.
In future I would suggest:
- you review the specs in advance and if all needed measurements aren’t provided, you contact the customer to ensure the appliance (in our case vent hood) will be on site during installation. We had to pay an additional charge for last minute delivery which was avoidable.
- you provide clear plans to the contractor or explicitly state the measurements around the island and that rough ins are NOT included so there is no miscommunication or you offer to do a walk through of the site with the contractor prior to installation
- you ensure any pertinent details for counters (such as thickness of counter required) are provided in advance - not after installation of the cabinetry

I do not feel these expectations are unreasonable for a company that prides themselves on luxury custom kitchens and customer service.

Following the above email I followed up with Debra and asked if she had received my email because I didn’t receive a reply. She responded “I don’t know what you want me to say”.
Following this email, there were 3 additional issues including the fridge not being appropriately accounted for resulting in a fridge that when installed correctly has a left side door that doesn’t open (despite Lucvaa having the specs prior to finalizing the design), the sink we purchased from them coming with the wrong drain which has still not been resolved and issues surrounding installation of paneling at the top of the cabinetry.
Basically, in summary, they are the WORST and you would receive better service at IKEA.

EDITED to add: Following posting this review, Lucvaa suddenly became very responsive and visited our home the following day. They reimbursed us $650 to have the baseboard removed so the fridge fit and the appropriate drain was received. This did not cover our full costs related to the modification that was necessary to fit the fridge, the delivery cost for the vent hood or the miscommunication related to the rough ins but something is better than nothing. I would not use them for future projects but wanted to add this so anyone reading can make their own informed decision.
