Basement renovation, Bathroom, in New home
We started with a big grey room, and after about a year we had had enough. We needed not just someone who could fill it in, but do it with our concerns in mind. Designed the way we needed it to be.
Parading 6 contractors through, we finally came to Steve at Masonridge construction, and were sold in 20 minutes.
Clearly a communicator, fast ideas, problem solving...wow.
Our big concern was the bulkheads intruding, BLAM, problem solved, layout was important to us, BLAM Solved. a Large bathroom area, built ins, hideaways, predictive wiring, BLAM...
Even some of the more incredible work was done, but we agreed not to share the details for design individuality, but so forward thinking, it`s astounding.
The rooms are big, beautiful and ours.
We wanted clean lines, simple yet flexible.
I think the biggest educational point is hiring a CONSTRUCTOR not just a CONTACTOR. Someone who actually does the work, who is accountable, available. Not someone who takes the money and subs out the job. You never know what you`ll get.
I`ll add photos later.
