Had to tear up concrete because of significant soil erosion and sewer leakage. They did a fantastic job of not only taking up but removing all materials, and did a great job of re pouring the floor. Communication was very quick, and they kept their appointment times faithfully. Overall, excellent work, and very professional throughout.

I recently had some flooding in the basement of my first home that I've owned. I contacted City Wide Group after doing a google search, explained to them my issue and stressed my concerns as this was my first home. They were able to send people immediately to assess the damage. They were extremely professional and quite comforting considering my situation. They were able to fully waterproof my basement shortly thereafter, and also installed a back water valve at a very reasonable cost. Because of the great work, I have recommended to a colleague who was also looking for some work to be done.

Chris and his team once again delivered a high quality product. I used them on a interior waterproofing, concrete floor and structural beam project which was flawlessly executed. We had our home water proofed approximately 4 months ago and couldn't be happier with the efficient and clean job we received from city wide group. They replaced the weeping tile which was the cause of the problem Chris's crew found. They used the top of the line membranes after repairing the entire foundation with cement. A neighborhood friend paid more from a competitor and got an ok result but they left their property messy. We are glad we did our research and picked city wide with their one stop shop way they do business.

I have used City Wide Group before on another property for a smaller job, after finding them on HomeStars. The first experience was great, so I had them waterproof a portion of a foundation of an investment property. They came through again with what they promised. The work was completed right before winter, and the basement has been dry since. They also put back the patio stones and walkway nicer than it originally was prior to the excavation.

City Wide Group completed the exterior waterproofing of my house last year. They also did a little bit of interior waterproofing and some plumbing work. Our estimator Casey was great and was able to answer all of our questions at the time. George and his crew did an amazing job and left the work area very clean. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for professional service.

After getting water in my basement for a few years, and wanting to reclaim the space for living and storage, I did a search for a contractor and am very happy to have selected The City Wide Group to do this work. Not only did Jacob, his Dad and the other crew members do an excellent job of underpinning, waterproofing and putting down the finishing concrete, but they were courteous and respectful of my place inside and outside. Even my neighbours who watched the progress during the day mentioned how great the team was in terms of friendliness, and overall tidiness. And the contractor who is now finishing the space made very positive comments on the work that was done by City Wide. I would recommend Harry Cavan and Jacob and his team any time.

old house built in the 30's....we had some water come in after major rainfall/ melting snow...but it got really bad after heavy rainfall of 2013....called city wide....they did the outside of the house...still had some leakage after snow melt spring 2014...so they honoured their warranty and came and did inside of house....we are very happy with finished product and I admire a business that stands by its warranty and doesn't try to make excuses....we recommend!

After moving into an older home, we had noticed water stains and a build-up of efflorescence on our foundation cinder blocks found in the basement crawlspace (at the back of the house). Ignoring the issue, we went ahead and had some landscaping done... Not our brightest move, given that during the heavy rains we had this summer/fall, we noticed that the water staining on the cinder blocks was getting darker (compounding this issue was that we also noticed that on one side of the house the ground was actually above the sill plate i.e. our house has siding and the siding was below grade).
As per usual, I came here to see if I could find help. Had 3 quotes; all the quotes provided came from companies that were within the top 15 listed here. City Wide was the ONLY company that showed genuine empathy and an interest to help me solve the problem quickly and efficiently. Casey was the gent who walked me through what would happen, how it would happen and how long. He took the time to explain, diagram and calculate total costs (vs. the other two companies who pretty much showed me their sales mags along with quoting me costs per linear foot). He walked around the house, looked inside the house, and was generally knowledgeable about what to expect. What was truly incredible is that the crew that came out (George was the gent in charge there) hand dug everything, and put it all back together in such a fashion that if I hadn't seen the actually digging taking place, I'd have sworn they hadn't done anything at all. True to their word/contract, these guys go that extra mile - good professionals, great people and the work they accomplished appears to be top notch.
