Amazing Paintjobs And Repairs . . .

Mike of Amazing Paint Jobs came to paint my kitchen, bathroom and hallway. After three long weeks last July ( 2010) he refused to finish the job I hired him to do. It was one week job. He left a huge mess and I am still fixing the horrid mistakes he made and finishing the work. As weeks go by I can see the effects of his how poor work. Mike is neither qualified or reliable as a painter and has no idea of fixing anything. His work is of very poor quality, shoddy, messy and does not last. He is unprofessional in every way. Do not hire this man.

Mike painted our carport. He did a very nice job that was quick and at a fair price. One thing I really respect is that Mike arrived to give us a quote when he said he "would" and arrived to do the work when he said he "would". We are very happy thank-you.

Mike and Chris repaired cracks in the original plaster ceiling of my 1925 house. They considered and explained several options and completed the job beautifully and promptly. They were able to reinforce the old plaster, restore it as much as possible to look like the rest of the textured ceiling and best of all, saved me from having to replace the entire ceiling. They were friendly, easy to talk to, and most importantly, reliable. Best of all they assured me that the cracks in the plaster walls of my old house do not mean it is going to fall down around me! I recommend them for painting, but also for restorative work in older homes.

Called Mike, because I was frustrated with a visit from 2Guys Painting. Oh, my, what a breeze after dealing with that first guy... Easy to deal with! Responded fast! LISTENED!!!! Did the job within the timeframe and on the budget as originally agreed. Left the place clean. It looks absolutely fresh and huge now! What else can I say! Perfect!

Mike Barth and Co. ( Amazing... ) recently completed a paintjob at my condo ( in conjunction with other work ) that lasted about a month. I found his work to be quite meticulous and professional- he used high quality paint and showed real attention to detail.
Furthermore, while he had many suggestions as to colours, he was primarily concerned with making sure the owner's desires ( mine ) as to colour choices were paramount. So he worked effectively to please his client. I found him to be creative in fulfilling his mission, so that I could count on him to make decisions on his own that enhanced the final outcome- for example, he shaded walls slightly differently to take in account lighting conditions and achieved a more beautiful overall effect. I had asked him to stain some of my kitchen cabinetry as a touch up repair- we had not discussed the colour and I was away at the time, yet when I returned to my place after this job was done- I found his choice of colour of the stain to superb, and I am very happy with the look.
Mike can be relied on to make independent aesthetic decisions or suggestions- and I can see this to be a real plus, especially if you are uncertain or conflicted as to colour schemes, or maybe if you don't want to be too intimately involved in every choice and decision yourself. He also chose some really nice accent pieces ( such as face-plates ) for me.
In addition to painting he repaired some drywall and installed baseboards- excellently done work.
The workers he had working for him were very nice and co-operative people who did a fine job too.
Overall I have high praise for Mike and crew for high quality work and have no hesitation in recommending him and his company for your painting project.
