Sam The Handyman

Sam and his crew were on time, stayed on budget, were extremely trustworthy and did a fabulous job replacing our flat roof in one day! He even repaired our chimney cap while he was up there. We highly recommend Sam the Handyman for any home repairs.

I just used Sam The Handyman to repair my chimney on my 1930’s bungalow, which was falling apart. He did a great job and was on time and on budget. Not only is the chimney repaired, but it also looks great. Sam used different color bricks staggered in a really cool pattern. It looks amazing! He also repaired the grout on some of the bricks at the back of the house. I’ve used Sam in the past to repair the slope at the side of my house in order to prevent water from pooling against the house, and I’m quite pleased with that job as well. I highly recommend Sam for any outdoor jobs that need to be done, and I will definitely use him again.

Unfortunately, the first roofer I used to fix my leak was not the best.  After a failed effort and months of delays from the other roofer, I looked up and found Sam the handyman. They came within few days as they seemed very busy. Their quote was thorough, and it addressed all of the issues and errors that the other company did not. While it was not a big job, it was tricky, because of the location of the leak. The simplicty and the speed to fix it was amazing. Coincidentally, the day after the repairs were done, we had a huge rainfall. After watching water drip for weeks, it was finally dry! I definitely recommend Sam for any exterior work that you need. And I will most certainly be checking this site before calling anyone again

The man (Sam) took 2 hrs to bring down a whole chimney and close the roof as nothing was there while his assistant was working on the other chimney. By lunch all work was done. No more leak from that bad chimney and the second one was fixed. He even matched the color on the mortar. Very nice work. I already passed his info to my sister in Burlington.

I did try another company to do the flat roof for me 2 years ago. The roof leaked. Called them and they are no where to be found. Called Sam and hired him to do the roof, he did the roof with one full sheet, no seams. No more leaks from that sucker. He also added new bricks for my chimney, new concrete cap, fixed the skylight. Fixed my entrance with flag stones. The one job went all as I was happy with him. He did great job. Can't say more, he worked around this weather and did all with no problem

Brick Repair and Tuck-pointing We had large cracks in the mortar that needed to be re-pointed and bricks to be replaced due to moisture/freezing / age causing the faces to pop off. They properly matched the mortar color and brick style. Not a big job (one day work - very fast and efficient), but they did a great job and price was fantastic compared to other contractors.

I contacted 3 companies to get me quote on my basement leak. Prices were all over the map and none of them gave me full details of the proposed work. Called Sam who already fixed my chimney before and the man gave me very reasonable price with comaplete details of what he was going to do. He did not do the full dig, he used concrete to seal the area at less than half the price proposed by others. This work was done 8 months ago and just now I decdied to write this review, very happy with work and no more water.

Basically, everything was done well. They did not fully clean up after they left, I had to do some cleaning myself. Their customer service was good and the installation of the product was well done. I am pleased with the final product, GREAT JOB!
