We asked Duguay's Works to knock out a wall to increase the floor space for a total renovation of our main bathroom, with a new tub, shower stall, toilet and vanity with double sinks to be put in. Cale the contractor took the lead on the renovation design, coordination of trades, obtaining all the supplies and fixtures, and made the whole thing very simple for us. We went away on vacation during the reno, he emailed us with pictures of how the job was going, and came up with good solutions for unexpected glitches that he came across while we were gone. Cale's an easy contractor to work with, trustworthy, and knew the value of minimizing the disruption involved in a bathroom reno. We're very happy with the finished product and would give our unqualified recommendation of Duguay's Works to anyone. Give Cale a call - he is great!

Recently this company removed existing hardwood and tiling and layed new hardwood in my condo (700 square feet). I was very impressed with the quality of the work and how professional they were. They were right on budget and finished ahead of time. Very impressed!!

We had hired another firm to completly gut and rebuild our home as it needed to be re-structured (it was built in 1882). We were not satisfied with how they finished the first floor so we brought Cale and his crew in to finish the 2nd floor.

They found solutions to work around the poor finishing of the first team.. ripped out the 5 layers of old floors and leveled them (in some places they were 6" out). They then leveled the walls... which was no easy undertaking as we were out 8" from top to bottom.

They cleaned up after themselves everyday - inside and out. Were very pleasant to work with! Were avalable when they said they would be and brought in trades when needed (hardwood installers, heating & tilers).

They were also accomodating with the trades I brought in and using supplies I picked up.

Cale chekced in to make sure we were happy by following up with phone calls.

Cale did a great job fixing up my basement. After dealing with so many sub-standard contractors, it's great to see there are people like Cale out there who actually care about the client's best interests. His company is one of those rare gems that doesn't take shortcuts and doesn't look to rip-off/overcharge customers. Most contractors try to get away with at least one of those. Well done -- the world needs more contractors like these. Reliable, honest, and quality workmanship.

Cale stepped into a partially finished kitchen renovation and was able to complete the project with minimal difficulty. He evaluated the situation, listened to my vision for the project and was able to complete the renovation while remaining true to the original idea. He always arrived whenever he said he would and completed the work in a timely fashion. At the end of the day, he cleaned up after himself and was careful to follow through at a later date to ensure that I was satisfied with the end result. I have and will continue to recommend him to friends and neighbours. It is difficult these days to find someone who is conscientious about his work and attentive to the needs of his clients.

We have had Cal and his crew perform a series of projects at our house: 1. Painting (the kitchen, main floor, stairway and upstairs hall); 2. Construct a storage shed, 4. Remove and install a new front entrance and 5. Renovate our main/upstairs bathroom. Each of the projects were completed on time and on budget, our expectations were exceeded. I hired the team after some great recomendations from a collegue (she had had him back for numerous projects as well as both her neighbors. He went on to do a project at my work with great flexibility of schedule and circumstance.

Their team came in demolished my deck and concrete pad, then over the next 5 days they built the deck to my specifications. It turned out better than I had imagined.

The team cleaned daily at the end of every work day.

I hired Duguay's works to do some painting and tiling for my kitchen which really needed some work and maintenance since it hasn't been touched in years. The owner and his two guys came in and did a great job being very courteous and helpful. They were really meticulous in their craft and did a great job in a week's time.
