From the first time I met with Bud, I felt that I was in the hands of an experienced contractor that I could trust to take charge of the whole process and I was right. Stubbs has a team of good people working for him that he supervises closely, so once they get going, they finish the jobs quickly. I think his pricing is fair.
They rebuilt my old deck, crated a whole new set of front stairs, a fence and now my curb appeal is totally transformed. Bud listened to my wish list and met my expectations. They did little extra things for me as well, which makes a difference. Now we are working on my kitched rebult and I can't wait!

We recently had Mr. Stubbs build us a new front porch, fix a cracked cement wall and do some minor repairs in our basement. We are so happy with our beautiful porch and have received many compliments on it. The cement work was also done very nicely. Mr. Stubbs and his crew were knowledgeable, hard working and friendly, and always cleaned up at the end of the day. We will definitely be using him again for future repairs.

I hired this company without getting any other quotes. They have been around so long I figured they were reliable. I was not disappointed. Excellent work including some extras I had not expected. Ten days from signing the contract to completion. The Stubbs crew were first rate. Highly recommended

Mr. Stubbs and his crew did a wonderful job. They were punctual, polite, and tidy. They parged a wall and fixed eavestroughs that had caused damage. They also did a couple of small jobs that needed doing at the same time. We would highly recommend this company and would hire them again.

A. Stubbs Contracting has done work for me at previous east end Toronto addresses over a span of many years. He has stood by his work, and I have always been well satisfied. So I thought of him right away when my husband and I needed some major work done on our property.

Moisture seeping into our Beaches area garage had severely damaged the roof and one wall. Over the past month Buddy Stubbs and his crew have repaired the inside damage, waterproofed the north wall (negotiating with a neighbour to do work on his property), replaced the old flat roof with a pitched and shingled roof, replaced eaves troughs, re-done the electrics, replaced a rotting window frame and painted inside and out. We had them continue by upgrading the back deck with a new roof, skylights, repairs to the stucco, and painting. While they were here, they also completed a handful of minor around-the-house repairs for which I would otherwise have needed to employ several handymen.

Throughout, they have been easy to communicate with; Mr. Stubbs has offered advice but has also listened carefully to what we wanted. His crew have been polite, cheerful, careful not to damage anything, and have cleaned up neatly behind themselves.

We are very pleased with the work so far, and are seriously considering bringing Stubbs Contacting back in a few weeks for another project.

We have hired Mr Stubbs several times over the years. The first time to build a front deck, put new siding on the house with soffits and eavestroughs. The house looks great.
Recently, we hired him again to renovate the basement kitchen and bathroom. When they tore down the walls they found black mold. So what started off as a small project turned into a pretty big one. Mr Stubbs brought in his team to parge the walls and waterproof the basement. They applied new drywall to the ceilings and walls and replaced the doors and flooring. It looks fabulous. They also built a very nice garden shed. The whole job took a while (of course the weather didn't help) but we got there in the end.

Mr Stubbs and his crew rescued our botched job that was started and deserted by Triple M Concrete. They were clean, fast and extremely helpful in sorting out the mess that was left. Mr Stubbs built our two retaining walls with 6x6s and tore out the old concrete walk way and repoured it all in a weeks time. I would highly recommend their services to get something done whether it's a new job or a job fix!

I recently bought an old house in the upper beaches. The seller had done some sub par renovations and didnt take care of the roof or windows.

I saw Mr. Stubbs and his crew working accros the road and liked what i saw.

The project grew as we discovered more things but Mr. Stubbs was always very honeat and gave me options. I decided to fix everything as i trusted Mr. Stubbs opinion as i know when they are done ill have a great houae as it looks fantastic sofar!

Finally his crew are awesome, knowlegable, helpful and skilled at their jobs. They even look after my dogs wjen they are in the houae and im not home!

Mike Holmes always says 'hes doing it right' well Mr. Stibbs does and says the same thing. He wants everything to be perfect!
