Thank you for taking your time to write a review. Upgrading main water pipe had couple of benefits. First of all, you got rid of lead pipe and now, water is safe to drink. Secondly, new copper pipe is bigger size than old one because, according to the new plumbing codes, minimum size of water pipe for one family dwelling is 3/4". Third, new pipe is extended from property line to the basement with no joints. Joints are potential points of leak. New pipe ends with ball type main shut off valve that is full port and recognized as the most reliable one. So, water service is done using the best quality pipe and parts on market.
