We were selling a house, and while the majority of the house had been upgraded to 14/2 wiring, there was still some knob & tube, including the ceiling fixtures, that was holding us back in selling the house. We were about to lose a conditional offer after the buyer's home inspector scared the buyers on the "evils" of knob and tube. In order to save the deal, we needed to change out all the remaining knob & tube, and do it fast. Rick Lopinski had been recommended by a friend who has had him do work in the 1840's house that she works in, and I knew he could handle the job. Not only did he come in and replace all the knob & tube, he did it with very little evidence. Holes were to a minimum, and very small which made patching them very easy. We were able to return the house back to it's original decor without any evidence that there had bene holes in the lathe & plaster walls, and were able to close the deal on the house.
