Our basement was flooded we called First Line and got Frank and he came out the next day and stopped the flooding with outside excavating and placement of waterproofing blue skin. He then asked for payment and told us that he would come back to finish the job when the dirt settled.However, he damaged panels on the side of our house and he never replaced them and he never completed the job. He left a mess of dirt and stones on the site. He always made us call him - and he never called us. When we were able to reach him by phone, he said he would be coming out to finish the job but never appeared and never called us to explain why. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Total switch and bait will find ads on kijiji by Frank or Ryan for amour stone for $95.What you see is not what you get. You get sewer rubbel from nardi excating that is only suitable for fill.Promised to replace the rubbel and now does not return any calls.

Hired this company for back yard re-grading, porch-driveway-back patio interlocking . Work started just great. When we paid 80% of the total - they disappeared. Only 20-30% of the project was completed. Frank (owner) didn’t return calls. In four weeks I invited another company to complete the project. They showed me that Frank just imitated the job. Nobody would be able to install interlock on the base that they built. He didn’t plan to finish the project from very beginning. Beware! Total and complete fraud. He has an assistant Ryan. I am positive they work together on this scam. Fine Line Excavating is fraud!!!!

Hired this company for a retaining wall and drainage project. Worked started out great, until they get enough of your money - then they disappear. They don't return calls and make excuses. Beware! The owner, Frank, appears a nice enough guy but once he has enough of your money he will abandon your job. Total and complete fraud. His "assistant" is Ryan and I have to assume they work together on this scam. Be warned.

The work was never completed after MANY attempts to get him to come back and finish the repair work. My basement STILL leaks. He put in window wells that fell right off the side of the wall one week after they were installed.
