Roof Inspection & repair of minor leak in a bathroom
In August 2016, after reading the high ratings on this company I called because I noticed a minor leak after a powerful wind/rain storm. I asked for an overall inspection as well. I was not thrilled that the asked for a credit card upfront but was persuaded by the high ratings. I was sorely disappointed. The repair person was late, took 5 minutes to advise that I needed an entire new roof and spent 15 minutes to attach a tarpaulin. About a week later I get a quote for $9834.39 for a replacement roof - no other repair options even considered! I also get the roof assessment with a photo of someone's else's property! Therefore I am not even convinced that I needed a new roof at all. I was so disgusted at this and the grief reported on Homestars by other dissatisfied customers that I opted not to waste any more time with this company and moved on. I will be dealing with a new company to remove Mr. Roof Repair's unsightly tarp from my roof now that the weather has turned mild

Without getting into refuting all of the inaccuracies and embellishments in this review, we can say that it is crafted in such a fashion to paint Mr. Roof Repair in a poor light without basis. This client’s roof is falling apart and should have been replaced years earlier. So yes, it took 5 minutes to know that it should be replaced with no options for repair. However, we were not late (GPS) and spent an hour at this property applying the tarp that she mentions and assessing the entire roofing system to build her assessment report… exactly as we were contracted to do. Also, the “unsightly tarp” that we applied, which was the only option considering the disrepair of this roof, has kept the water out of her house and avoided interior damage since our attendance last August. It is true that the cover photo of her report document was not correct, but everything inside was (GSP/Time Stamped Photos). This client approached us because she had water coming in her home and needed a timely solution, which she received. She also wanted a clear and unbiased view of her roofing system and recommendations on a path forward from a company that is accredited and regarded as we are. However, she is unhappy that the level of workmanship, warranties and customer service we provide is not priced similarly to the roofing companies that she didn’t want to deal with in the first place.
