Gas line in backyard for BBQ - thorough is an understatement
Sales process: I had to move the appointment a couple of times due to our own schedule (over e-mail) and George was very accommodating.
Installation: on time and very thorough. The bbq could have been on either side of our backyard door, but I didn't want it on the side that was closest to the meter. George patiently explained the implications of that (cost, where the gas pipe would go up and across the backyard door etc.), so I felt confident that he would do a good job either way. The finished product was perfection. Looked like it was part of the house. He also uses metal pipes instead of a rubber tube for the gas line.
Most importantly: I never had a fireplace before, so George literally spent at least another 30 minutes after the installation to explain to me how to winterize the gas fireplace (i.e. you don't need to), how to use it, safeties, mechanisms and how it works since I was paranoid about gas leakage due to pets at home.
Price: extremely reasonable with the amount, quality of work, and very high service.
Great service and thank you again, Gas Guys/George!

Thank you Victoria for taking the time to write a detailed review about your experience with GasGuys.ca. We take pride in installing natural gas lines and always try to keep them straight, level and clean. This is something that will be visible on your home for many years and if it looks off level, it will definitely stand out and look bad. Thank you again for your review, enjoy the BBQ and you know how to reach us should require any further gas line installations.
Thanks again,
George
