Do Not Trust. Too Many Red Flags Discovered.
Not good at all with communication or servicing customer needs. Contracted this outfit to install a concrete foundation for an addition to my home. Started off really well. They talk impressively to get the contract but that is where it ends. Prior to starting the dig I found out that my regular homeowner insurance will not cover my property during a renovation. No big deal, my insurance broker just needed four questions answered to get me a policy for the renovation. 1, how long in business, 2, do they carry General Contractor Liability, 3 did they have any losses and a list of recent similar work. This is where it went south. Over a period of three weeks they ignored multipal phone calls, didn't respond to test or e-mail. Their webpage does not list an address but Google Maps had them located in Pickering ON. I went to the address just to find that the lot was plowed under two yeas ago and an apartment building was under construction. So they didn't even bother to update they web. Too many red flags at this point so I ended the contract. This has now delayed my job and all the other trades lined up to complete the install. Also the work was to start mid May. That date went by during the time they were ignoring the request for insurance information.
