Aaa Wild Animal Removal Services

We had a raccoon in the attic. I paid Ron $820 based on trust that he would complete the work, like fixing the big hole, clean up the dropping, disinfect, add mice killer. This work was not done. The only work he managed to do was to set the trap and add the wire mesh (which was done by an assistant). This work was done at the start but it was just to get the cash into his hands first. I think his plan was to run away and leave us hanging. I regret paying him any money before finishing the job.

Basically, he has ripped me off without any intention of finishing the work. Moreover, his actions have been very unprofessional (not following up). I called him more than ten times. He returned none of my calls. I had to chase him down every time. Each time he said he'd come (Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday). The result was completely "No Show" each day. He never gave me a definite time except for the very first day to get the job; after I paid him, he didn't show up and never gave me a definite time when he'd show up next time to finish the job. He never finished the job and I will not trust him in my house. He is indeed crooked... not an honest businessman, not a person with 25 years experience (which he claimed), and not a trustworthy person. How can anyone even have faith that you'd even fulfill his 3 year guarantee? He doesn't even have a physical address on his invoice or website, so as to avoid angry customers whom he's scammed.

I've now learned that he has ripped off many customers in the past. On the Better Business Bureau website, he had 12 complaints filed against him in the last 3 years with the BBB, and these are likely not all of his victims. I finally figured out why he didn't like to answer his cell phone calls, even when he was over here. He must have a lot of angry customers (victims). I wonder why.

This guy is not only irresponsible, but a genuine con-artist. I would not let him into my house again.

Called AAA Wild Animal Removal Services on Friday for raccoon removal. They said they would come Saturday to look at the property. We agree to use them because it's raccoon baby season and important to get raccoons out before they give birth. Saturday they failed to appear. They came Sunday and gave a quote and said they would come Monday to do the work. We would both be out that day so they asked for a cheque up front and made out to the owner - Ron Reist - rather than the company. Bad signs, but my wife agreed.

Monday was slightly wet and windy so we thought they might not come, and they didn't. Called to find out when they would come, but they didn't get back to us. Tuesday was fine and calm but still nobody came. Calls were unreturned. Wednesday more of the same. They haven't found time to visit or call, but they have found time to cash the cheque we wrote.

Thursday I get Ron Reist on his cellphone at 10am. He doesn't recognize my name and has to ask my address and then says "I was just on my way to your place - I'll be there in an hour". But when we get back on Thursday no work is done. We call that night and three times the next morning (leaving messages that aren't returned again) before finally getting him Friday morning. Again he has to ask my address and again he says "I was just on my way to your place.". I tell him we don't want his services any more since he's taken too long and we've agreed with someone else to do the work that afternoon. Now he gets angry and tells me that we have a contract, and there are no refunds. He says he didn't come on Thursday because he was having tests at the doctors. That doesn't explain why he said he was "on his way" and I tell him so. I tell him he has an hour to get there and start work or I want a full refund. He arrives and does the work, which appears to be barely adequate.

This company (and the man, who has run several companies with different names) are late, uncommunicative, aggressive, incompetent, and their excuses have no credibility. I strongly urge everyone to avoid them.

Hired to remove bats . Made big promises about sealing the house off and installing one way doors. Used scrap wood to seal off small portion of house. Did not finish Left large holes that bats could get in and out of. Had to rip off his work and redo it myself DO NOT USE has numerous BBB compalints. He is a fraud. Ron REIST and Christin REIST also operate a company called AAA animal evictors. Dont try to find them afterwards they move and hide on the internet.

I called this company on Friday, August 28, 2009 at 10 a.m., and waited until 3 p.m. for them to arrive, even though they said they would arrive "in a couple of hours." They got the raccoon out of my chimney and were friendly enough, but the two teenagers didn't do such a great job "cleaning and disinfecting" the droppings (cost $75) - all they did was scoop it up in a bag and throw some toilet bowl cleaner on the area.

The next day, my mom finds the "chimney screens" down by the side of the house. So, I personally climb up to the roof to check and... the raccoon was back. The workers didn't even screw down the wire mesh they put over the opening! I called them that same day, but they told me I had to wait until Monday. Fine, but please make my house your first call.

Monday rolls around, and they don't come even after I called several times that day. I call the guy, and he tells me Tuesday. Tuesday comes and several phone calls can't seem to get them to come and finish their work. I called him that night and say I want my money back. He tells me they'll come within half-an-hour and if not, Wednesday for sure (otherwise he'd give my money back). Wednesday comes and goes. I call him on Wednesday and he says his truck was broken (what a coincidence!), "but tomorrow for sure," he says. I already gave him three days!

So, I demand my money back and he keeps making excuses. He tells me his worker will call me because, "He was the one who screwed up." I say fine and wait until late evening for his worker to call me. Nobody calls, so finally, I call back and ask him what time tomorrow (Thursday) I can go to his office and pick up the money. He starts making excuses and I firmly tell him just to tell me what time. He starts yelling at me to call him back tomorrow and slams down the phone.

It's not pleasant dealing with people whose promises aren't real, and to top it off who yell at you!

In total, they charged me $450, didn't even attempt to trap the raccoon like they're supposed to... and all I'm left with is a job that wasn't even done and a "contract" that has a 2-year "warranty."
