Initially Pawel is enthusiastic and promises to do great work for a good price. He charges by the hour and says that he doesn't take a percentage over other trades that he uses.
He demolishes everything at once leaving you very little room to actually live in and leaves it that way for months. He is unbelievably disorganized and leaves everything in a mess. He has no respect for your personal items and damages are high. He is extremely slow and remember that you are paying him by the hour. He can't seem to keep employees for any length of time since he is constantly yelling, swearing and berating them. He takes no responsibility for his work. For example he had me mark the places that I wanted computer hook up when the walls were open. He ran the wire and closed up the walls. Later we found out that the wire he used was incorrect and his excuse was that he doesn't know anything about computers. He implies that his expertise is second to none, but that is not the reality. His work is sloppy. He loses interest in the job and never finishes the final touches.
He covered our outside stairs that were brick with slate that is not meant for outside. The tiles have subsequently flaked and collapsed. Again he insisted that he used slate all the time for outdoor work. I will have to pay to have it removed as well as having it redone.
My advice is to stay away!!
