Zaid Moving

In brief: I can't say enough good things about this moving service. I'm a U of T student who was NOT looking forward to the nightmare of moving in the middle of the semester... but with Zaid and Dan, moving was no nightmare at all. They arrived on time (on the dot!), were so friendly and easy to communicate with, and stayed cheerful and quick even as we carried all my stuff up to the top of a four-story building with no elevator. We were done in 90 minutes flat - at least an hour less than I'd expected. I don't usually write product/service reviews, but I hope that by writing this one, Zaid will be able to grow his small business. These are honest, careful and very reasonably priced movers, and I won't hesitate to call them again next time.

The guys showed up on time, were very careful with my stuff, and worked very quickly and efficiently - I was very impressed. Zaid and David were friendly and extremely professional.

Will definitely be using them again!

Zaid was terrific to work with. He worked with my schedule, and was really easy going. I was very impressed with the care he showed with my furniture. I would definitely use him again.

I moved to my new Place 1 week ago and used Zaid's Moving company to do so. I have to say, with all the horror stories you hear about movers, I was somewhat skeptical, but only to be extremely surprised that 2 men moved all my things without a scratch, a break, a mark, and without making a spot on any of my new floors. They were so careful, they had the cleanest blankets for my furniture and floors and never once stepped on my carpet and floors without something covering their shoes. Zaid and David never complained (especially having to got up 2 flights of stairs to move all my BIG HEAVY furniture in, and completed the job with smiles on their faces. There were no hidden fees...what he said it would cost me, is what it cost me, and if I had the extra money, I would have given them more just for the amazing job they did, and for making my move go so smoothly. They were on time, moved everything out before the scheduled time, and I would recommend them for anyone. My sister had used them in the past, and will be using them again to move across the country. I'll I can say is thank you, thank you, and thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I would never use anyone else but Zaid's company, even if was to move my TV :)

Zaid has done two moves for me. One tiny: a mattress across the city; and one big: all my belongings to another province. He and his workers are consistently professional, efficient and courteous. The prices are very fair and competitive. I was very impressed with how quickly he responds to each email. I would highly recommend his company to everyone!

This is the third time I have used Zaid's moving service and like always, Zaid and his crew were on time and dealt with some unexpected snags (due to my condo messing up the time slot) in a very professional manner. They moved the condo contents to my new place in minimum possible time and the service was A Class as usual. No breakage, no problems, moved about 25 boxes of books from storage to storage without a problem as well. I have recommended Zaid to my friends and have used them exclusively for all my moves (3) since 2007. It seems kind of odd to give 10 stars to a service these days, but I think Zaid and his crew duly deserve this rating. Many thanks!

we finally moved out of our townhouse downtown and didn't want to do the whole "rent a uhaul and move ourselves" thing again. called zaid moving to schedule the whole ordeal. 3 movers came and and i think they were done packing everything up in less than an hour! quick service and decent rates. would definitely recommend

Zaid and his crew moved the contents of our 3 bedroom house to our new house, both in East York. All three men were very professional and polite. They were very careful moving all the furniture out and into the new house. They were very cordial and diligent. They worked fast and the price was reasonable. We highly recommend their services.

We hired Zaid for a two-part move where we had a good portion of our stuff in storage at a self-store depot from when we staged our home for sale, and the remainder still in the home. We required pickup from both location and delivery to the new home. As it happened, there was an absolutely torrential downpour that day. It was also exceedingly cold. They were only a short while late to our starting point due to traffic (Toronto on a rainy day), but they phoned from a cell phone to make sure we knew what was up and to apologize for the delay (which they didn't charge us for). They were exceedingly efficient, very careful with our stuff, and most of all, extremely polite, friendly and easy to work with. Whenever we stopped them with questions, they seemed happy to answer them and not bothered at all, and we mostly just had to stay out of their way. We'd changed our mind about a couple of very bulky items that we'd initially told them we weren't taking, and this wound up requiring a whole extra trip, and they didn't mind or make a fuss whatsoever. (And they almost managed to get them in the one trip with very efficient packing.) We've unpacked several boxes of fragile items (packed by us) and nothing has been broken at all. In the end, I'm completely satisfied with the move and would use them again without hesitation.

Zaid was recommended by a friend who moved from a house to an apartment. I used his services for a move from a small rental unit on the 12th floor to a condo unit downtown. Zaid offers the full package with dollies, blankets and rolls of plastic wrap to quickly wrap furniture. He moved me in about 2 hours and was very careful, efficient and quick. His pricing is reasonable and better than renting a truck and trying to move yourself. He's also very honest as i over payed him by $50 and he called back and returned the money. I would totally recommend his services to my friends in the future and I'd use him again for me next move.
