Zaid Moving

I had a fairly large amount of stuff to move, and wasn't ready when they arrived. David and Darrin put my troubles to rest by loading my stuff that was packed in a perfect balance of speed and care not to damage anything.

I was worried about my pet Degus (8 of them), and their cage that was not as fresh as I hoped it would be, and it was a bit wobbly from me working on it prior to the move. The cage is wire mesh 3' long, 4' tall and 2' deep. The guys looked like this was an ordinary occurrence to them, as if they moved homemade rodent cages most days, and didn't even flinch. I later noticed that they must have tied u a few loose ends with some steel wire I had there on the table, and didn't even bother to ask me to do it.

A lot of stuff loaded, unloaded from 10 am- 1:30 pm, and they allowed me to continue packing while they worked. It was a disaster for me, but they treated me with courtesy and understanding throughout.

I think these were the best movers so far for me and they have what it takes to surprise their customers in many great ways. They treat their moves as if they were their own, as is evident by these here reviews. I know I have only great words and thoughts of them and will recommend them highly in the future.

I had an antique & very heavy rosewood entertainment unit, weighed over 300 pounds. It needed careful handling and it was picked up seamlessly & delivered to my dad's place. I rec'd the call of its arrival, earlier than schedule. They even moved items in the hallway to bring the unit in and placed in the correct area. Not one dent or scratch on the feet, perfect condition. The best part, is we were greeted with big smiles and pleasant demeanour. Refreshing as most moving companies are grumps! Not this one, highly recommend.

I would recommend Zaid to anyone.

The movers were both so friendly! They moved all my stuff in just over an hour. They even helped me set up my bed, and disassemble some stuff I was unable to do myself. They did whatever I asked them, in a timely, professional fashion. They were also right on time, which was wonderful.

I moved a household - antiques, large art and some furniture that needed to be dismantled in order to fit up the stairs. Zaid and his team are dependable, hard-working, and affordable.

This was the best moving experience we ever had. Zaid and the guys moved our main floor and basement. They arrived on tim, and throughout the move, were polite, professional, efficient, and very well organized. We highly, highly recommend Zaid Moving.

For three previous moves I had used Francis Movers. For the first two moves, they were excellent, on the most recent move, the crew sent by Francis Movers was terrible. We paid for three movers and they were slower than Zaid and David by at least 25%. In addition, they had poor attitudes and charged us for the time they spent eating lunch. After that experience I wasn't going to call Francis Movers again so I searched online for movers with good reviews and we found Zaid Moving. Zaid emailed us to confirm pricing and the appointment and always responded quickly when we sent questions. He and David arrived when they said they would and after a quick scan of our belongings, began the move. They were fast and worked very hard. The day we moved it was 35 degrees yet Zaid and David seemed hardly affected. By the time the truck was unloaded at our new house, only 7 hours had passed and they didn't charge us for their lunch break! All our belongings were transported with care and furniture was loaded and packed especially carefully. Vivian and I were very impressed at their speed, maturity, integrity, and professionalism. I would definitely recommend Zaid Moving and would use them again.

As I hadn't used movers here before I did a lot of research and got quotes for 3 of the bigger movers in the GTA. I only wanted to move 4 items but I had quite a few stairs.
One company wanted to charge $5 per stair on top of their initial quote, all of them quoted over $250 with additional charges for driving etc. One quote was $450 +, just for 2 beds and 2 small desks with no drawers...

Zaid gave me a FLAT RATE, which was lower than ALL the quotes I got and the fee didn't change or have anything extra added to it later. They showed up early, and were so enthusiastic and nice it immediately removed a lot of my stress around using movers and how it was going to work out.

The experience was so fast and pleasant I actually wished I'd done my entire move with them. Which is exactly what I'll do next time!

Zaid movers were a great help in our move from our townhouse to storage. They were trustworthy, reliable and did a wonderful job, would gladly recommend them to friends and family.

Zaid and his partner worked diligently all day long, and were polite and professional the whole time. I felt very comfortable with them, and never worried about my belongings. They even went back to the old house for a second run without charging extra. I would highly recommend this company.

I looked through Craigslist and called many places and most didn't even answer me. One guy hung up but Zaid responded and was PLEASED to do the job. He was great. Showed up on time.. loaded the truck and delivered on time. I highly recommend him.
