Peter Brooks Design-Out Of Business

Peter Brooks overrepresented his skill set. There were a number of issues leading up to our ultimate decision to stop the project while it was in progress and use another company. Trades not managed and I suspected given evidence of repeat shortcuts, that he condoned and wanted this performance. I learned sadly today he put no header above our existing cut out for a replacement sliding patio door. Now I'm paying for that again. This man should not be working.

He designed our bathroom in our house and he did such a great job we invited him back. The only reason he got an 8 was that some people he sub contracted the work to were not the best but I've heard he has new contractors that are excellent.

We interviewed a number of Design/contractors and decided to go with Peter Brooks for our renovation.
While Peter has some design ideas that are good, his construction crew were abysmal. Our property was such a mess, our neighbours complained. The proper permits were not obtained which created major problems for us. Peter Brooks did not draw up any proper plans. He is basically over his head in terms of the skillset he is offering. Peter Brooks is more interested in taking your money than providing a good and honest service. We were very disappointed with the lack of integrity. I would definitely not recommend this company for any type of design or contracting work.
