I ordered a Muti Kitchen after we saw a display at the homeshow in Toronto and was also recommended to me by a friend.
I met with Muti in March 2014 and signed off on the final design and paid the deposit in early April with a completion date of 8 to 10 weeks.
I was getting very worried whether I chose the right company – it was difficult to get anyone to speak to you – I was frustrated to put it mildly.
I felt that because my kitchen was only 20k – that I was treated poorly – not an important customer etc.
Finally received a reply on August 08, 2014.
“Please be advised your kitchen cabinets have been scheduled for delivery & install on wed. 08/13.”
There were a number of mistakes done to my kitchen than what was promised.
The initial measurements were all wrong so now my kitchen is not correct.
I had a contractor come in to look at what was done and I need Muti to come back to fix this correctly.
Muti did not measure properly. Everything was too low, my dishwasher wasn’t able to fit into the kitchen.
My issue with Muti is that sales and the installers do not collaborate together.
I know that if the installers were at my condo prior to installing my new kitchen - we would not have had any issues.
So I had to get my Quartz removed so Muti could come back and do the job.
Then get the quartz put back in…more money.
Muti then ran out of product – so had to wait months for them to order.
My kitchen was finally completed on October 7th 2015.
I strongly urge you not to use this company if you actually want a kitchen delivered properly and on time.

Dear Lesley
It is quite disappointing to receive such a review which incorrectly states the facts. For one your kitchen was 17K not 20K, as well you did not pay to have the quartz removed, Muti took care of it. The original height of the countertop was changed by your husband on site when the installers were there without consultation with our designer. Once the change was made and you subsequently installed your countertop you realized that that you were not happy with the height. A few months later you notified Muti you were unhappy with the counter height. We agreed to raise the cabinets to the original height and at no additional cost to you, however to be safe we requested to have the countertop contactor remove the top to avoid any risk of breaking. You agreed, however when you spoke with your countertop contractor you refused to pay him for the rework. We were reluctant to lift the cabinets without the countertop being removed but in order to satisfy you we did it at our expense. We did not run out of material as you stated. Once the cabinets were raised, a number of custom items had to be re manufactured. We supplied all the changes and material at no additional cost to you, even thou all this was created by your request to change the original height of the counter at time of installation. Whether a customer spends $100,000 or $10,000 with Muti we try to provide excellent value and customer service. In the end it cost us a considerable amount of money to make all these changes which were approved by the customer, but we feel it is always important to try to make the customer happy even if it may not be our doing and even if we lose money as we did on this project.
