Kakoz Kitchens

I first met Shavan quite a number of years ago (15+), when helping my in-laws with their kitchen reno. At that time, I believe he was fairly new in the industry. Unfortunately, that particular project, didn't come to fruition, but Shavan left such an impression on both my husband and myself, that when it came time to for our own kitchen reno, the first thought was "I wonder if Shavan is still in business"? In an industry that sees many companies come and go, the fact that Shavan is still around is a true testament to his craft. After waiting years to start our own main floor reno, the stars aligned and we finally kicked off the project at the beginning of last year (2020) - never anticipating what was to come with the onslaught of a pandemic. The challenges & hiccups were many, but in all that, there were a mere handful of companies that really stood out - Kakoz was one of them. Shavan, Rana, and his incredible instal team delivered an amazing end product. So much so, that I hope to connect with Shavan very soon once again for 2 other projects in my home.

Over the past 10 months we have completed a few renovation projects in our home. Although many have gone well, none were as fantastic as our kitchen. The design, attention to detail, the installation and the final product were exceptional. Everything was on time even through the tough times that we are all dealing with. I can go on about our wonderful experience with Shavan and his staff, but since pictures do say 1000 words, I'll cut this short and let the pictures say it all.

Very happy with our new kitchen as we were going through a main floor reno things were being changed. Shavan was always able to quickly make changes as the project evolved. Customer service is important to him and his team.

We recently completed a Kitchen renovation (yes, in the middle of a pandemic!) and we couldn't be happier with the result.

We met several Shavan several years ago when he helped us with 2 bathroom renovations. When we decided to renovate our kitchen we naturally thought of Kakoz Kitchens first.

Shavan was very helpful and patient with our many questions and visits to his beautiful showroom. He offered many helpful suggestions and really made the design and colour selection process a positive one for us.

We are very happy with a our beautiful new kitchen. Quality design, fabrication, materials and a great installation all at a fair price. Highly recommended.

I went into Kakoz Kitchens for a quote for my two bathroom vanities in October 2020. I chose my finishes and was given a quote. I was told I would have someone come measure the site within a week. Fast forward to November 2020. No communication from Kakoz. They came to measure after I called and emailed them numerous times. January 2021, I haven't heard anything regarding my vanities. We called to set up a meeting with the company. I went in for my scheduled meeting in which the person I was supposed to meet with "forgot" to show up. I met with another person who gave me my drawings and I signed off on them. It is now February 2021 and I just contacted the company AGAIN and they said that they haven't even started my cabinets yet.

All in all, this process should not have taken 4 months....especially with no end result.

The communication with this company is awful. They don't respond to emails or phone calls unless it is convenient to them.

I would not recommend this company to anyone who wants to get a project done in an efficient time period.

We went to 4 different showrooms for our kitchen renovation and my wife picked Kakoz. Shavan gave us a lot of his professional suggestions how to custom build our kitchen, that was very helpful. He also has a lot of connections to help us find a excellent contractor to do the renovation and supplier to pick the material. The job was done with on time and the kitchen is so beautiful. All our friends love it. A few asked for Shavan's information.
At the end, when we told him about out closet cabinet door was not working (which was done by someone else) He said he would fix it for us.

My Husband and I met Shavan at one of the home shows about 3 years ago. We did what every other couple would do and scope out all the kitchen venders. Some of them screamed out expensive. Their staff were dressed up like they were attending a gala at some and others were a lot more simple. I came across only 2 venders that showed great quality in products and were not so aggressive with us. They had a calm approach. We were not pressured to leave our name and numbers and instead just to call when we’re ready for a quote. I remember writing on their brochures they handed out (Nice Guy). I did that on purpose so I could try to keep track of the ones I may want to do business with when I’m ready. Another show came around and did the same things. When we were finally ready I pulled out everything and discovered I had written on Kakoz brochure Nice Guy twice in both two shows without realizing we had the same great experience with the same company. That meant a lot to me so we finally got down to business and got a couple quotes going. Even thru that process, Kakoz was the best experience and pricing.
Shavan and his team did an amazing job. He made some great suggestions with the design and thank goodness we listened to him as his opinions really changed the look.
He is someone we really trusted and know that he will stand by his products should we encounter any problems in the future.
I would highly recommend this company.

A brand new kitchen.
My wife and I met Shavan a few years ago at one of the home shows and was very impressed with him. We kept coming back and talking to him at each show until we were finally ready to move ahead with our plans. We didn’t go to anyone else for a quote and went with our gut feeling and were not disappointed.
Shavan came down, did the measurements and came up with a design for our kitchen, as well as some suggestions with regards to removing a wall and having a closet attached to the kitchen near the door.
Our kitchen looks fantastic now as well as appearing larger and much more functional. The glaze look is perfect and the quality of the work is second to none.
Shavan and his team were a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend Kakoz for kitchen projects to anyone I know.

Words cannot express how grateful we are to have met Shavan from Kokaz Kitchens. Being in real estate you come across a lot of contractors, some good , some not so good. But this company is a 10+++. Kokaz Kitchens - Shavan and his team work extra hard to go that extra mile. We met with many Kitchen companies but he was the one that impressed my husband and I the most. His service is behind incredible . Needless to say he did an awesome job and exceeded our expectations. He listened to us and met all of our needs . We just loved the final product of our custom kitchen cabinetry. We can truly enjoy entertaining in our kitchen.

We also knew when it was time to have our entertainment unit built, he was the guy we would use. The craftsman ship and attention to detail is amazing . After visiting numerous kitchen cabinet companies we went with Kakoz Kitchens after meeting them at the Toronto Home Show. From the very beginning Shavan was professional and provided his input and ideas that went a long way in helping us achieve our family dream kitchen. His team of installers were professional and were very attentive to all the little details (shout out to Daniel and Ronnie).
We were pleased with our kitchen that we also hired Shavan and team to build our wall unit.
