Our asphalt shingles deteriorated AGAIN, after 12 year even though they are rated at 25 years. So we decided to explore the steel roof alternative. We called around and talked to a few people. We were very impressed with Eco Roof. They explained the whole process, the pros and cons and presented samples. No pressure just solid information.
We thought it through and decided we'd be in this house a while so we provided the go ahead.
They have their own workforce and manufacture their own product so everything is under their control and as a result everything went very smooth. Head installer Alex, was super and knew his stuff. They left the place in good order every day and the finished roof looks great. This is very residential friendly, not the old style industrial look. The neighbours and all asking about it and we're very pleased.
Even had a huge rainstorm a few days after the install and although others had suggested steel roofs may be noisy, we found it very quiet. This is high grade stuff, well installed with an air gap, not some cheap tin product.
Yes, cost more that traditional shingles but now looking forward to many years of savings in the long run and no more decaying asphalt shingles.
