Fantastic work, and such polite and quick service! Has changed our closet and space so much!

I recently had a walk-in closet installed in my home in Etobicoke by TailorMade Closets, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The teamDermot, Carol, and Michael were absolutely wonderful. They were incredibly helpful, kind, and never pushy, making sure to accommodate my needs with multiple revisions until the closet design was perfect. Their positive attitudes , care for the end product and flexibility with scheduling was so appreciated.

Michael, the installer, was a true professional. He kept the workspace clean by laying down tarps and even vacuumed after the installation was complete (both the workspace and my balcony where he was cutting). My house was left cleaner than when he came in.

TailorMade Closets offered fair pricing, and Im beyond happy with the final result. I would 100% recommend them time and time again to anyone looking for top-notch service and a stunning end product. It always makes me happy to support businesses full of good people who love what they do !

The best experience for custom closets in Toronto. We did our research, and are very happy with our decision! TailorMade Closets made our experience easy and personal. They were able to design and build something that fit our space perfectly. They cut the pieces on-site to ensure a perfect fit, compared to other closet companies that fabricate the complete unit off-site and install in person. I would recommend them to anyone in Toronto looking for top-notch customer service, and an excellent product, at a reasonable price. We will be calling them again for any/all future closet projects! This is the third time I have worked with Dermot and his team. I want to outline my latest two experiences with Tailor Made here, because anyone looking to hire a professional and courteous team needs to look no further.
I'm a wee bit late posting these reviews, but it is worth reading if you are in the market for custom closets:-)

The second time working with Tailor Made was for a condo in Toronto, for two custom closets. As usual, it took Dermot no time at all to measure and send me 3D renderings (photo enclosed) that enabled me to have a good feel for what the finished project would look like. He offered me different configurations as well--and made suggestions for spots to place long hanging and short hanging based on my actual wardrobe. (First Seven Photos are from this job at the Condo: Master and Entry).

Dermot came by the condo during the installation to ensure everything was to spec. One bar in a closet in a one-bedroom condo does not offer a lot of storage, so you'll enjoy seeing the finished project below and seeing what I was able to fit into both the entry and master bedroom closets now!

The most recent experience was when I moved in with my (now) spouse and instantly got to work on convincing him that his house required custom closets. He had three bedrooms, one of which had a large walk-in closet, and a front entry closet. All closets only had ONE rod with a top shelf.

During the consultation, we were shown 3D blueprints on Dermot's computer, and shortly after, a PDF with full views (front/sides/top) was emailed to us. Installation day came around, and the job was done after only a few hours (no mess in the house). Not only do we now have so much room, it was an absolute pleasure working with Dermot and the staff at Tailor Made--right from the initial contact with Carol (who has always responded so quickly--even during this pandemic).

Dermot always follows up after the installation to ensure we don't have any questions or concerns, and wants to ensure we are 100% happy with the final product (which I have always been).

You should also know how flexible your options are when you work with Tailor Made. We are expecting our second child and needed to rework one of our closets in order to accommodate children's clothing to move our toddler into what used to be the guest room--this included adding an extra shelf, hanging rod and accessories (valet hook/belt rack). I reached out to Carol in the middle of Covid just to mention I needed to order some extra parts, and was in no rush. She replied the next day, and that week Dermot followed up with a phone call outlining a delivery time, and explaining the parts would be ready soon but remain quarantined before delivery to ensure safety

I don't have photos of the current house photos before adding all of our stuff, and things aren't quite as organized as they should be, so I will only post the 3D plans as well as the finished toddler closet--but trust me, in a house without a basement, having maximized the space in our closets has kept the both of us sane:-)

Final takeaways...if you value integrity, you will appreciate their thoroughness, prompt and tidy service, and honest opinions. Measurements of your actual wardrobe can be taken to ensure items fit, and the entire staff will work with you to accommodate your schedule. I hope you enjoy working with Tailor Made as much as I have, you will be thrilled with the final results and enjoy the process too!

Having worked with Dermot and TailorMade Closets in the past, they were my first call when considering closet organizers in our new condo. Once again they delivered! Dermot is simply exceptional to work with: responsive, attentive, friendly yet professional, and a perfectionist in terms of his product and service. We had four closets done, the master bedroom being a very irregular shape. Dermot had excellent suggestions on how to maximize its use and spent at least an hour in our home to make sure the designs would work. I completely trusted his advice and was thrilled with the end product. Everything was installed exactly to our requirements. We had many challenges with our recent move, so it was refreshing to have at least one thing go flawlessly! The installer, Michael, was impressive also. He was punctual, completed everything within one day (a big job!), and left our rooms spotless. Regarding pricing, Dermot had given us a heads-up that the costs would be higher than the last time I had my closets done, since they now use even higher-quality materials than before. I braced myself waiting for the cost, but it came in quite a bit lower than I had expected - more than reasonable. I am so appreciative when I work with a person or company who I trust to do right by me that TailorMade will be the first call I make the next time too.

I can't even put into words how much I loved the service. Dermott and Michael were professional, courteous, meticulous and paid attention to every detail. My home was left spotless and my closets and office were put together exactly as I specified. I would recommend them hands down to anyone who asks. I am even willing to let people looking to have organizers installed to come and see the work they've done.

We have used TailorMade closets 3 times now and I have been thrilled with the results every time. Dermot listened to my concerns and designed our closets to our specific needs. We loved their 3D software as it helped us to see exactly how our new closets would look. We booked in a date and their installer arrived on time and went over everything he would be doing with me. He made any necessary cuts outside the home, and tidied up after himself. The installations were always finished on time and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. They installed 2 large walk-ins and a bedroom closet and each time they were on budget, easy to work with and managed to maximise every inch of space in my closets. I would highly recommend TailorMade Closets to anyone looking to get their own custom closet organized.
