I asked for a quote to take a washer and dryer to the dump, and was given the hourly rate, which sounded reasonable. When I got the bill, I found out that the hourly rate was PER MOVER (They sent, and charged me for 3 guys, although one of them didn't do anything). Also, there was a $50 charge per appliance. When I said to the driver who gave me the bill that none of this was mentioned in my quote, he said "Oh, ya, she must have forgotten to mention that". No kidding... The fact that I would have to pay more than 3 times what I was quoted would have been nice to know BEFORE I chose them, and had the work done.
