Galaxy Moving & Mobile Storage

We hired Galaxy Movers to move us from Victoria to Vancouver, over 2 days. The salesman was thorough and professional. I obtained 2 other estimates and they were all very close to $1800. The moving crew showed up on time. They were efficient and professional. They communicated their progress and took very good care of my possessions. I was thankful they accommodated a late afternoon delivery. The crew was very professional and polite. There was zero damage, a first for me! I would like to thank Mark, Jorge, Jared, and David for their exceptional service. The final bill was only 1500, a very pleasant end to a two day move. I will enthusiastically recommend Galaxy Moving.

Great moving company, I've used them on two different occasions for both moving and storage and would recommend them to anyone looking for either service. They showed up on time, were careful with all of my household belongs, and extremely organized. They have a competitive prices and great service definitely look into them for you're next move. You won't be disappointed!

I know this sounds cliche, but I'm not sure I could have moved without these guys. Galaxie was very easy to work with and very professional. They were on time and kept me in the loop as they were moving my furniture onto the truck. They had estimated 4 to 5 hours to move my things, and came in just over 4 hours. The movers I had from Galaxy Movers were fantastic! Both Chris and Adrien were professional and efficient. My antique sofa that's always been very time consuming to move out of any space only took them under 5 minutes to move out of my heritage apartment. And my they paid close attention to not scratch or ruin any walls while moving it out. The past three times I moved with that sofa, each mover took an average of 15 mins to try to get it out! I would use this company again and recommend them to anyone looking for efficient, friendly movers. Great Job Chris and Adrien, thank you!

Thank You, Thank You, Thank you, I am taking the time to write this well-deserved review for an
outstanding company. Galaxy Has Great Office support in their employee Randy. From the moment my
husband and I met her, we knew we chose the right company to help us move from our condo in Calgary to Richmond BC.  We obtained 4 estimates, some
which were cheaper than Galaxy's mover's, but we knew that customer
service and the delivery of our items safely to our place in BC was
critical. Randy was exceptional in helping us with a last minute change
of address.  Only a few days before the move, we changed where we would
be moving. She provided all of the appropriate insurance documents and
workman's compensation certificates to our building in Richmond.  She
followed up on this closely and made sure everything was in order for
the last minute change.  There was no charge and no hassel.  Just
complete understanding of the situation we were in.The movers came right
on time on the Friday promised.  At 1pm a very professional crew of 4
guys came to start packing our 2 bedroom 2 bath condo.  They packed
everything individually, including the kitchen dishware!  Every glass
and plate, completely protected.  Our plants even made it safely.
 Toward the end of the afternoon, the company actually sent 3 additional
guys to help speed the move along.  Again, this was all included in the
flat price for moving they offer from Alb.-BC. based on weight.The
next day, the crew arrived in BC to deliver our belongings.  The
traffic delayed them slightly, and the driver called ahead to warn us of
the delay.  To compensate, to my surprise, they again sent additional
movers from the BC area to help unload and make up for the time lost. 
Randy even called us on the day of the move to make sure that
everything arrived ok and that we were on time. She is truly about
customer satisfaction.This moving company is professional, courteous,
and delivers on time.  We never feared that something would be broken, or lost.  We even took a coffee and dinner break at a local
restaurant while the movers continued to pack our home.  They didn't
stop at all for the close to 7 hrs it took to pack our home in Calgary.I
have already recommended them to two of my friends and will certainly
continue to do so.  If you have the pleasure of having Randy do your
estimate, you won't be disappointed.

Of all the moving places that I called, this place was the most reasonable. They do not charge extra to move a big screen TV. 

They did an awesome job, the office girl was helpful and the movers were a delight.

All in all, if you're looking for good movers this place fits the bill.

I have used Galaxy Moving & Storage Mobile servie to not only move my home belongings but for storage as well. I was very impressed with the professionalism and promptness of the company. The movers went over and above to ensure my personal belonings were protected and stored safely. I had just recently purchased a new bed and was a little worried to have to put it in stoage for a long period of time. They wrapped the bed with 3 layers of packing wrap to ensure the bed would be in perfect condition once I was ready to take it out. Sean (owner) was very helpful in setting up a time/date that worked for me and I must say, the price was right! I have used them a few times now and would recommend Galaxy to any of my friends or family in the future. Great Job!!

I discovered Galaxy moving and storage by accident - and what an excellent discovery!  These guys were the best.

I had decided to put my stuff in PODS storage and that is how I came upon Galaxy, they offer pods storage as well.  Working with Marshall (Head Mover) to "shuttle" my stuff from my apartment to my POD was my first clue that I was dealing with a top-notch company.  He was so professional, kind, and reassuring.
The day of my move, I was strung out, exhausted, and hadn't been able to finish packing all of my stuff (and I have a ton of stuff...)  I was worried about how expensive my move was going to become.

I needn't have worried.  My Galaxy moving team - led by the awesome Marshall and Chris - arrived bright and early - all four of them!  Justin, after seeing how much needed to be done, quickly reassured me.  He re quoted me and and continually updated me on what they were doing (materials they were using, how they were going to pack, etc.).   Like many others have said, they were indeed fast, friendly, careful.   I have antique pieces that they took excellent care of.  The final cost came out only a few hundred more, and that was under what Justin had re quoted me.

They made my move a really good experience.  Wow - how often can you say that?  I am so grateful for all of their help and professionalism.  I will use them again when I get my stuff out of the POD.... and for any and all future moves!  They are simply great.
