Morley Overhead Doors

I was searching online for Morley's phone # and came across this website. My experience with Morley Overhead Doors (also know as Marley) was great so naturally I was shocked to read the reviews already written. I had the complete opposite experience with Jimmy and Morley. They had replaced my old garage door and provided me with excellent service. A few months after the door was installed we had an issue with the cable and the door wouldn't close properly. I was able to get in touch with Jimmy right away and he was at my house the next day and repaired my door with no charge and a great attitude. I am not usually the type of person to review online but after reading these other reviews I felt i had to share my experience with this company. I have recommended Morley to my friends and family and I have not heard one bad thing about that company so far. I will update this review if I do. But as it stands I beleive Morley to be a great company with a great focus on customer satisfaction.

When I contact Morley (also known as Marley) initially, I received a prompt response and quotation to replace my garage door. They answered all of my questions and arranged for a timely installation.

After the door was installed, I noticed some workmanship problems. I emailed Marley 3 times without a response. My rollers on the door came loose one day and the door would not close. I called Marley and was advised that they could not come repair it that evening.

I then called and emailed several times to set up a date for the door to be repaired under the warranty. I did not receive any response. I eventually called another service to repair the door. I was advised that the brackets on the door were not properly supported and that the rails for the rollers were t0o far apart. The trim was also not cut properly, leaving gaps where snow and debris can come into the garage.

I cannot recommend Marley. While attentive to get your business, the quality of the installation was terrible and there was a complete failure to respond to concerns and fix the door while under warranty.

Paid the Owner of company to install my garage door and a new garage door opener on April 18th, 2011.

On the April 26th, the door lift cable came off the door. I reached the owner by telephone on that day. He said he would get back to me in a couple of hours, 3 days later he has not called.

All my other attempts to reach the Installer or Marley Entry Door System failed. I have tried their emergency number, the office number and no one returns the call

Jimmy came in one Sunday to do the installation and found that the tracks that I had would not allow for an opener installation. He had to come back the following week to do the installation with special tracks to allow for clearance. New tracks cost an extra $250. Service was helpful and friendly.
