Mike was the inspector on a home inspection on a 1940's property and specifically looked for deficiencies that eventually collapsed the sale. The purpose is to review a property and to give opinions and to back up his information. Mike found some deficiencies with this 70 year old property ;-), and treated this as a new home regarding codes. There is a reason we do not use Inspectors like this.

Ron, I see your unhappy with my service, but then you were not the one I was working for were you. I'd guess you were the Realtor working for the seller. My client (the buyer) was very happy with my service. There was no mention of any codes in my report. Of course there will be problems with an older home, but a responsible owner will maintain his property. That house needs work to be a reasonable, safe dwelling. My client probably didn't want to make the additional investment. Many Realtors would like me to deliver a soft report so that their sale will go through, that is why I do not market to Realtors. You are trying to damage me with this review, because I wont "play ball". The welfare of my clients is far too important to me, and your commission is of no importance at all to me. Have a great day!
