Convertible Heating And Air Conditioning

I contacted Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning after my unit stopped working during the hottest night in Toronto. They promised to come within an hour and they did. The guy was kind, knowledgeable, sociable and thorough with his work… explaining why my cooling unit wasn’t working and how he would be able to fix it. In less than an hour, my house became cool once more. I couldn’t be happier with this. Highly recommend Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning. Would use them again and I am planning to do so when I upgrade my system to a more efficient one.

After receiving 4 quotes, I decided to hire Convertible Heating and Air. Marnie, one of the managers, was fantastic! She was able to explain clearly 3 different furnaces and their costs. Marnie helped me decide on the right furnace for my home and was able to have it installed within 2 days of her visit. The installation team who installed the furnace were incredible--punctual, efficient, quiet and tidy! I have already started to recommend this company to people needing a new furnace.

I called looking for someone to come out and repair our hot water tank. Grant, the man I reached at Convertible, was very kind and gave me some helpful DIY advice to try before requesting a technician to come out. When I called back with a follow up question, he was patient and knowledgable, which helped me remedy the problem myself :) These guys seem like caring and trustworthy professionals! I would definitely call them again.

The 2 techs arrived on time at the end of April 2015 and were very pleasant and professional. They replaced the 2 units in a good and timely manner, cleaned up all debris afterwards and all in the space of 8hrs.
We have had a slight glitch today (Tuesday 6Th Oct) however, once again the company despatched a competent and very knowledgeable tech the same day and all is well again.
We would certainly recommend Convertible H & A to anyone.

I dealt with Chris who was very punctual and knowledgeable. He also told us not to hesitate to call his cell phone with any questions while we were thinking about the quote (which we took advantage of twice). The quote was MUCH cheaper than the first company who quoted us almost double. Chris was able to book the installers about 1.5 weeks after we signed the contract. Kamil and James were our installers. They were punctual, courteous and professional. They reviewed options for where to install the vents and Kamile even laid landscape material down under the new AC for me when I mentioned my husband and I would be doing some landscaping at the side of our house! They also showed me their work at the end of the two days and reviewed the new thermostat with me. Overall, very pleased with the service.

I called Convertible and they referred me to Dieter who was came to the house on a Saturday morning which was very convenient for me. We had a number of issues to work out with the location of the vent on the exterior of the house, but after looking at the options, he quickly went to work and did a fantastic job. We love our tankless heater and would recommend Convertible to our friends.

For several years I was looking to replace my 25 years old furnace. I had called several companies that install Furnace, but the prices were too high. I came across an advertisement for Convertible Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. I decided to give them a call. I spoke to Marnie, she was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. She gave is a Quote over the phone, which I found was reasonable and less than what other had quoted me. So I decided to go with them. the installers Roop and Josh came on time, did a good job, cleaned up the place and took the old furnace away. I was very satisfied with their Job.

Before going for convertible, I obtained 5 quotes from different contractors. Chris was the sales person and he very quickly impressed me with his knowledge and efficiency. Looking at the customer satisfaction ratings and the very competitive price, the decision was obvious. The installers Josh and Brendan came on time. They explained to me what they had to do and went on to do the job. They took care of everything: they returned my rental water heater, took the old equipment and cleaned up after the job. It took about 6 to 7 hours for everything. On their way out they told me that everything was working, we did a quick inspection of the work and they left.. Unfortunately, I did not ask them for a demo and when I tried to put the system on "fan" just to check it out, nothing happened.. I called the office and they very quickly connected me back to the installers. We tried to troubleshoot over the phone but it was obviously beyond a simple problem. They committed to come back the next day at 7h30 am and they were right on time.. After 2 mn, they discovered that there was something on the furnace that was not plugged properly. Everything was working after that.. So the only opportunity for improvement for me is to test the system with the owner present before leaving.. Based on my sales and installation experience, I would highly recommend convertible.. We have not used the system at all so far due to the outside temperature but i do not anticipate any problems and i am now confident that i can count on them if something goes wrong.
