Viktoria Professional Movers

I used Viktoria Movers in May. I have moved many times, and this was, by far, my best experience. Prompt response, competitive quote and the moving team was excellent. Careful, clean, efficient and nice to work with. I've never worked with movers who actually seemed to love what they were doing. Moving day was a breeze! How often does that happen?

Positives:

-Very friendly and polite.
-I like that they wrapped furniture with blankets, and wrapped mattresses with plastic covers, to protect them.
-Laid down floor runners to keep floors clean. Didn't scratch floors or walls.
-Arrived slightly late (likely due to morning rush hour traffic), but finished the job ahead of schedule.

Negatives:

-Forgot to bring toolbox. Luckily, we have screw driver.
-Broke two fluorescent light bulbs and warped a lamp cover, but did not tell us.
-For the high price, not as gentle with the stuff as we expected.

Overall, a good experience, we're happy with the move! Not perfect, but no one is perfect...

Excellent move and help on a stressful event. Great care to wrap and take care of everything so a move without broken or scratched items. Very professional, friendly and movers who know their trade, Very impressed.

Pedro and his team did two moves for us  and I couldn't be happier. Pedro was beyond helpful, polite and hard working. In addition to all the moving, he fixed a broken leg on my couch and even set up our office in a way that we love (and never would have thought to do so ourselves).
I can't say thanks enough and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. Pedro is great.

Pedro & Kevin helped us with a very complex move earlier this week and it went off without a problem! They pick up a truck full of donated furniture from 9 different location in Toronto and delivered it to two locations in Brampton - donated homes for Ukrainian newcomer moms and kids. We hired Vitoria movers after a recommendation from a friend that moved in May. The results were better than expected considering all the horror stories out there regarding moving companies. Maria was SO helpful in explaining all they do, making recommendations and assuring us along the way that all would work out well. We were moving my parents (both in their 90’s) from a large house to a smaller apartment in a different city, and the recommended size of truck was perfect. The three men that did the actual move were fast, efficient, helpful, and extremely courteous, even at the end of the day when they would have been tired. We can’t thank all the staff at Victoria enough for making this stressful time easier.

The moving team was professional and courteous. They took extreme care of our furniture to ensure it was safely ready for loading and shipping to storage in Charlottetown. Pricing was fair and they remained true to the estimate provided, even providing a reduction as our load weight was less than estimated. We highly recomend them as a mover.

Viktoria did our recent move and could not have been happier with how it went. Great service and care, everything arrived intact and they took the time to ensure we were set up in our new home before leaving. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for movers.

We have used Viktoria movers 4x in the past 5 years for in-town moves (once to move into our house, then out and back into our house temporarily for renos, and for a condo move for my sister), after recommended by a friend. We always now call Viktoria for a move, and highly recommend!

The 4x we used them, the Viktoria movers were punctual (or even early!), were very careful with our items, packed well fragile items and furniture incl TVs with furniture blankets, shrink wrap and tape, use moving mats/carpet rolls to protect your floors, helped disassemble and reassemble furniture, and were nice, professional guys.

Not cheap (eg. 6h condo-to-condo move with 2 movers & 20ft truck for $1175, or our previous 7.5h house move for 4 guys & 5 ton truck for $2000), but definitely worth spending the $ if you can for a quality, stress-free move.

(Previously, we would use "cheaper" movers, but they were much less reliable, once not even showing up!, would sometimes break things, didn't pack or handle the furniture well, etc).

Maria (admin) was super helpful with quotes. For our last move Vince and Harald, and during our previous moves, Cormac, Matthew, Nick, Desmond, Alex were all great.
