I hired Stone Craft Home Renovations to redo my front steps and porch and fix some lifted stone tiles in the back. The steps were done ok but not great (but not cleaned so the mortar needs to be cleaned off). The entire porch is a disaster. The job took longer than expected so I was away when it was finished. Apparently, the original crew (who did sub par but not horrendous work) was replaced by another person who did an absolutely horrible job. Words can barely express how terrible the job was. Several stone tiles were installed upside down, he filled in spaces with tiny pieces of stone tile, and some tiles were cut at strange angles. It is awful. In the back, we laid the stones in the order and direction that they should be installed. He installed them out of order and some were in backwards. James agreed to fix the shoddy job for us. That was in June, 2023. When I called to follow up I was unable to get ahold of him. I don't know if he has gone out of business or is screening my calls but there is no response. Do not hire this company. The workmanship is shoddy and the owner is non-responsive. I now have to pay someone else to fix this disaster.
