I was moving from a new townhouse rental into a very old home in the Glebe,...needing a few updates like counters and light fixtures, but most of all new furniture that worked better with the space. Badr was excellent and incredibly helpful right from the beginning. She was also a great resource for names of people /companies that could help me out with various projects requiring specific skills. She was always cheerful, patient and fun to shop with for the various pieces of furniture required.
I am fairly good at creating a comfortable, appealing space,...but I would have never been able to bring the vision that she did to my new home. I am so happy with the finished product!!!

We hired Bahr after several recommendations from friends. She was extremely easy to work with and made special effort to help me find my own style and foster a love of decorating I never knew I had. She showed wonderful expertise on staging large items and rearranging smaller items to create a space that is both gorgeous and functional. She was able to work within our budget and made suggested for future purchases. Her fee was very reasonable and she was able to be flexible when scheduling appointments. I hired Badr from Blu Dot Interiors to help me with a Reno to prepared for the sale of my home. Badr has the uncanny ability for what her clients require and most importantly to implement the design in a very cost efficient manner, with the least amount of compromise to achieve her vision and her customer’s expectation. First day of the open house that was for the sales agents, every single one of the agent had positive comments about the way the house was done. Furthermore, she is very resourceful. She works many suppliers that will provide additional discount for their services. It was a pleasure working with Badr and would highly recommend her.

We asked Badr to help us choose paint colours for our main floor, second floor, and bedrooms. We had been struggling with our choices for weeks. When Badr arrived, we connected with her right away. She is professional, friendly, and fun to work with. Choosing colours for (nearly) our entire house seemed intimidating, but Badr was very efficient. I worked with Blu Dot on a large project in the past and the experience was excellent. So when I had an even larger project, Blu Dot was immediately hired a second time. Badr obviously brings serious design and PM skills to the table and I am sure this is what you principally care about. But there is so very much more about her than that. This is the kind of person you want to work with and will enjoy working with. You will learn to trust her implicitly. You know the old saying... "when they made Badr, they broke the mold". In our quest to bring our peach-and-mint-green ‘80s-era living / dining room into the 21st century, Badr Gebara of blu Dot interiors became our extremely knowledgeable, warm and trusted guide. She packed many easy-to-achieve tips into her initial design consultation, helped us select beautiful engineered hardwood flooring, steered us toward sophisticated and comfortable furniture and lighting choices, encouraged the use of crown moulding – a great investment – and brought in wonderful partners like Mike Pagnutti of Quality Painting. In the end, we decided to renovate almost all ground floor rooms. I now realize that when doing a renovation project – even if it costs only a few thousand dollars – you would be crazy not to consult an interior designer. It would be like doing your business taxes without an accountant. Our home is our main financial investment. Badr’s fees, in our case, amounted to about 3% of the total project cost and yet, if we had not had her advice, we would have certainly made some costly mistakes.

I must say that Badr did an excellent job with her creativity and exquisite style in creating my beautiful and newly renovated Dental Office here in Kanata. The three dimensional plans whom she spent hours working on with her talented Engineer from Clear Drafting were precisely transformed into real life version.
