I have gone to Jacks New and Used for many renovations it's a great place with tons of used stuff.

Someone wrote something about it being full of junk but all of their stuff is useful to the right customer.

I have purchased appliances, doors, bathroom fixtures, and tons of other stuff from these guys at fair rates, sometimes excellent rates.

Chris was great, not sure if he still works there, but if you want a good price he's the guy you want to see.

Stay away from the lady that works there if you want a decent price lower than the tag.

At the suggestion of a friend I went to Jack's for my new back door. Great stock but they didn't have the custom swing I needed. Within a few days they had a custom one made up. Unfortunately when I went to pick it up I found that they had made it up with the wrong swing. With apologies they made up a new door right away and delivered it to my house free of charge.
Very eager to fix problems, great pricing and a treasure trove of stock.

Had to go find some hardwood floor replacement for a 70 year old house where the floor need to be repaired beside the fireplace. It was extremely difficult to find comparable hardwood of that age and colour but a friend directed me to Jack's. Went there on a weekend and after searching around for a while,, found a bundle of hardwood that almost matched exactly what we needed. The price was reasonable for what was available and the service was friendly. Great place to go find hard to find and older reno-type materials.

It is always fun to prowl around Jack's haphazard yard full of lots of junk and a few great gems. If you are looking for items like old doors, windows, doorknobs or antique stained glass to replace what has been ripped out of your old house by a previous owner, Jack's is the place to go. A lot of the stuff is overpriced, but they are usually willing to take offers on items, especially if you are buying several things at once. This place is crowded with stuff, often messy and not the safest place so dress in your grubbies and wear sensible shoes.

I enjoy shopping here because they always have great service and a fantastic location. I bought some used doors at a really reasonable price. I would recommend checking this place out for any materials.
