Westview Builders builds a beautiful home, and the final product looks great.

For improvement, it would be to have better communication between office and client.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and thanks WestView during the the house buying/construction process.

We truly enjoy our new and beautiful home, and I’m so pleased that we found the perfect place for us, the right builder and with the right personal to accomplish it.

Knowing how much we love our new home; inspire me, undoubtedly, to recommend WestView on my networking, or anyone that is looking for a new home.

Overall, the home purchase experience went smoothly. But I must say, the selections process was not fun, being that you have to take time off work to attend these appointments as they are only during working hours, but that’s with every builder.
The worst experience was with “The Ensuite” where you do your plumbing selections. They did not have any pricing available, they didn’t have the “Westview standards” available to view, responses to calls or emails were non-existent.
I had to take off work and return to the Ensuite 8 times to finalize my selections, extremely disappointed.

The sales folks with Westview, Barry and Lenka were good to deal with, any issues and concerns I had were addressed in a timely fashion. The only disappointment I had was regarding my lot selection, when I questioned about the view behind my home, and with the new developments going up if my view would be maintained. Barry had mentioned that the developments were going to be lower than my home to maintain my view. One year later… this is not the case.

Nobody really cares your house after you pay the deposit. Selections were missing, extra charge was added after a few months. Once issues happen all of them try to find an excuse to blame you and cover themselves instead of finding a solution. Away, seriously.

Nothing but the stress and headache to begin with. No customer service, no accountability,no ownership, no professionalism. Every question asked will be pass on to others to blame. Waste of time, money and energy. Sales agent will promise you universe, and when time comes he will pass you to head office, head office will pass you to some body else and so on and so on. Please take this advice seriously, and get any other builder to build your home, anybody else but Westview. Now they are also going with
another name in the same business Red door homes, be careful with Red door Homes as well.

The finished product is good. Your issue will be with the embarrassing customer service that you'll receive once you've provided a deposit for the property. You'll also question the sales guy about the poor ratings Westview receives on this site, as we did, and he'll come up with some "fluff" on how the reviews relate to an older project, to distance himself from the criticism. You may find yourself leaving messages and/or emails in the high single digits without a single response. You'll then go to their show home unannounced to meet face to face and he'll act as though he never heard or received a single note from you - at which point you'll look at your partner/spouse and either cringe with frustration or laugh because you can't believe this is happening after you just bought a house from him?

You may also find issue with the warranty work as the staff responsible for this side of the business are as responsive as a newborn. Suffice to say, hopefully your warranty work will be minimal, to not have to rely on this team whatsoever.

As for those clients buying a "used" Westview home, be glad that you're getting a nice product where the original owner dealt with all the challenges on your behalf, upon possession.

Westview has potential, but surely they would struggle if the real estate and energy market was softer.

We are very happy with how our house turned out. They were able to provide us with exactly what we had requested and what was promised to us. We enjoyed working with Westview and would highly recommend them.

We are pleased with how our home has turned out. The house is beautiful. Though the service needs to be improved as it was disorganized, and there were many delays.

We were very happy with the contractors, as they provided quality workmanship and products. The quality of work is excellent. Communication was an issue as the understanding of concerns were not dealt with. All of our options were not given to us in the beginning which made the process miserable in the end. Trying to communicate with anyone in the company above the sales rep is impossible and constructive criticism was not well received.
