We just moved to Burlington and wanted to switch from a wood stove in the fireplace to a gas fireplace. We googled different places in Burlington and read the reviews and chose Terry. He came and told us what we should get and gave us a price. There was some chimney work that needed doing as well. We looked no further because of his knowledge and his personality. It was done last week and we are thrilled with our new gas fireplace. First time ever that we are looking a little forward to winter. Terry even cleaned an evestrough out that we were stalling to do because the roof is so steep. We were very grateful that he did that. He also leveled out the mantel piece. plus put our woodstove on kijiji for us. We sold it last night. . These are all great qualities to see in this day and age.. Those extras without being asked, meant a lot to us. We would highly recommend Terry.

We had an old fireplace in our basement that we wanted to reface and put a new insert in to update the look of it. After we called Terry for a quote and he came to look at it, he suggested that we knock the whole thing down and start from scratch. We were a little hesitant at first, but we are so glad we went that route. With the old fireplace knocked down, he went above and beyond for us, by removing the old firebox, even though this was supposed to be done by the contractor renovating our basement. He installed the new gas fireplace, completed it with floor to ceiling stone, installed our mantel and even put up the TV mount. We are absolutely thrilled in how the fireplace turned out and Terry completed the job from start to finish as if it was his own. He was quick to get everything done and the price was right. Terry is prompt, accommodating and a great honest, friendly guy. He has kept our older gas fireplace running in tip top form since we moved in 2002. He also installed a new service for our gas stove during a kitchen reno.He came highly recommended from 2 neighbours. I will always call TJ's for any gas services.

We emailed Terry on Sunday to do a gas line install for a new gas stove we just purchased that day. He replied immediately. The stove was delivered on Tuesday and Terry installed it on Wednesday. TJ has replaced 2 old energy inefficient gas fireplaces in my house. The most recent project was refacing a dated brick wall, replacing the gas fireplace and adding a new mantle. Terry helps with suggestions for the job that really made the room beautiful. He promised to have the job done in a week before Christmas and he was true to his word. He was very respectful of the house and covered the floors and all furniture to minimize dust in the house. He disposed of all materials and cleaned up after. He brought in the chimney expert to fix our old crumbling mortar. This is a true professional. We have one more fireplace to replace - and will definitely be calling Terry back. Called the day after our pool was opened and wanted to have the pilot light lit before the long weekend. He came that day and did it, filled holes around pipes where he noticed ants coming into the bricks and walls. Very happy with Terry's services, it's not the first time we have called him and won't be the last either!
