Mac Leans Custom Kitchens

After reviewing homestars we selected 3 companies that were top rated to have them come by and provide us with quotes. After receiving the quotes and reading through all the positive reviews of MacLeans we selected them to do our Kitchen and Powder room renovation. From our initial meeting with Barb and Terry we felt very comfortable with our selection. The quote they provided was very detailed and they answered all questions we had regarding it. To begin, we went to MacLeans showroom to meet with Barb to select our finishes (cabinet design, colour, knobs, countertop, tiles) - our quote provided us with options in certain levels - if we wanted something different we were able to select it and the price would be adjusted - our quote provided us with a quartz countertop in a level 3, however we really like the look of a quartz countertop in their level 1 so we ended up saving almost $500. This was one of the first major advantages in selecting MacLeans as we did need to go anywhere to get anything else!! We had met initially in October to pick our items and told Barb that we had a child due at the end of March - Barb said they would do their best to have the construction start in early February. To her word, they began on a Friday in late January. Our job was not a large one as Terry and Barb said, just ripping out an old 12x12 kitchen, powder room and putting it all back together, however the speed at which it all took place had us in aw. This leads the next reason why this company is outstanding - they had all the contractors they work with set up and ready to go - we did not have to get different guys in to do different jobs. MacLeans had the demo guys in Friday afternoon, the flooring guys in Saturday, Monday and Tuesday morning, Terry, his brother and son arrived Tuesday afternoon to start putting the kitchen back together, the electrition arrived Tuesday afternoon to install the potlights. By Thursday Terry and his team had finished up and on Friday the countertop guys came to measure. The process for countertop took 2 weeks and then Terry and his team came back to hook up the sinks and dishwasher. Every single one of the contracts that came to our house was kind, courteous and professional. Terry, his brother and son were top notch professionals at what they did, answered any and all questions we had, as well as provided some great ideas. Barb was very easy to work with, returned all emails promptly and offered great suggestions for things we needed or didn't think of.

We have already recommended the MacLeans team to friends and family and will continue to do so and will use them again without hesitation.
