A home popped up for sale in downtown Toronto that my wife and I were very interested in, however it was only a 5 day listing period and so we didn’t have a lot of time to make a decision and we knew that if we wanted to be competitive, we would need to put in an unconditional offer. A pre-inspection report had been completed on the property, however this was going to be the first house we put an offer on and so we wanted the extra peace of mind of having done our own inspection. Again, being new to the process, we asked our real estate agent for a recommendation and he recommended Alan Glushko.
On very short notice and on what turned out to be an extremely windy and rainy day, Alan met us at the property to carry out the inspection. Alan was very thorough and honest in his review and walked us through the whole process step by step. Alan took a series of pictures during his inspection, pointed out the pros and cons of the house and made a number of recommendations as well as provided indicative cost estimates for many of the high priority issues. In the afternoon following the inspection, Alan produced a comprehensive 50 page inspection report, that was both detailed and easy to understand.
Working with Alan was an informative and educational experience for my wife and I would definitely recommend contacting him if you are in need of a home inspection. I will likely reach out to Alan again in the future.
