I hired this company to install a new chimney liner and to rebuild my chimney and cap it. They came highly recommended - however it wasnt until after the job was complete, my hose destroyed by their having dropped bricks and equipment on top of it, that a roofer -quoting on another job- showed me photographs of what TOWNSHEND had done. It was the worst, most incomplete and shoddy job you can imagine. . I was absolutely shocked. Unfortunately, I didnt keep the photographs. My recommendation is that you insist on a photograph of their completed work. For a company whose specialty is repairing chimneys, to have left mine in this appalling condition is incomprehensible.

Once I complained, they corrected the issue immediately and upon request, showed me photographs of the recompleted job. However, innocent consumers would have no idea of the potential neglect. I will never use them again.

Walter and his sons did a fantastic job replacing/installing a ventilation pipe for my new water heater April 7, 2022. This job presented them with a very complex situation. They skillfully resolved how to remove the old pipe and install a new pipe and avoided having to cut a hole into my finished basement ceiling. This saved me considerable money because I did not have any drywall to repair afterward. They were professional, knowledgeable, prompt, polite, respectful, neat and cleaned up afterward. I found myself trying to think of another job I could hire them for. Well done! Thanks!

I was incredibly impressed with the level of professionalism and customer service Walter and his sons provided us. The install was fast and friendly and my family and I are really thrilled with the result. It's a beautiful fireplace that works incredibly well. We have really been enjoying it. Bought an older house in Etobicoke that needed some significant fixes. Got referred to Ronnie and he did not disappoint.

Gave us honest advice, helped us with pricing, and suggested a couple solutions that saved us money and made improvements too!

Cut down our rotten chimney, re-bricked and capped it nicely. Installed 2 gas fireplaces plus new manifold and backyard BBQ line (got us fantastic deals on the hardware too). In the process, even re-routed the poorly planned furnace exhaust to take strain off the blower (and avoid blowing on the rear patio!)

Can’t say enough great things about this crew. You should chat with Ronnie before making any decisions. Highly recommend.
