From the moment I contacted Vancity Electric, they have had impeccably professional service. The sales rep gave me a complete quote, answered all my questions promptly, provided me with extra suggestions, and was upfront about some potential issues that may make the job larger than quoted.

On the day of the job, the two electricians answered all my questions, were prompt, explained exactly what they were going to do, and worked hard to avoid the extra issues mentioned above.

Vancity is not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and I would hire them again for my next job.

Replaced old Stablock panel with a new one. Service was upgraded to 125 amps. Very well done and all mess cleared away.

Had pot lights in the kitchen area that were not working. Vancity Electric technician came over and fixed the issue quickly. Just needed to replace the light bulbs and made them work even though we tried to do it ourselves earlier and couldn’t get the same results. Will use them again in the future.

Vancity upgraded my electrical panel from 125 amps to 200 amps, and did everything needed with the City and BC Hydro so I did not need to deal with them myself. They also installed a large number of potlights in the house. Cory and Geoff, and their team, did a fantastic job at a fair price. They were also thoughtful in terms of working through some of the complexities thrown up by BC Hydro and their not-always-reasonable rules; another contractor might have just given up the job (or tried to stiff me for more) but Cory and Geoff worked through to find a solution effectively. I would certainly recommend Vancity to others.

Reached out to multiple electricians to install EV outlet plug. TJ from Vancity electric was super responsive and provided me with quotes for different options. I found them to be the most responsive, knowledgeable and professional. The video site inspection process was such a great way to save time. I love how everything is automated - scheduling, quotes, billing, invoicing and payment. Made it all such a breeze. Showed up on time, was polite and tidy and the work itself was great. Wouldn’t hesitate to hire again for future work.

We hired VanCity Electric to add some pot lights to our bedroom and living room. They ended up having to redo things the other electrician did poorly. Since then, we have called VanCity several times for additional small jobs. We would not call any other company. Dustin is great!

Moved into a mobile home that was very dimly lit. Had Vancity Electric come in and they installed pot lights in the kitchen and living room for me. They were very professional and diligent and I am very happy with the service they provided. They cleaned up after themselves and were done in excellent time.
