John did a great job putting up the door. He was very detailed with his work. He took the time to make sure all the measurements were accurate and it fit exactly as designed.

Once again John's overall service delivery is a sheer delight. John has completed a number of projects in my home over the last couple of years and I have total confidence in his ability to do job well at all times. His awesome sense of humour and honest judgement and advice about the viability of new projects is greatly appreciated!

We needed to better organize our garage with shelves and an attic, so thankfully we found a Pretty Handy Guy, John, who is actually a very Handy Guy! John's customer service, pricing, timing and quality of work is excellent. Pretty Handy Guy (John) was a true professional. He arrived on time and went over the details of the job with me before starting the repair. The basement damage was caused by a leaking pipe in the wall. He fixed the drywall, put in a ceiling patch and also replaced the baseboard and the crown moulding. He took his time and made sure the work was done to a very high standard. He did a great job and left zero mess. I highly recommend John and will likely call on him in the future.

We hired John in January and will definitely hire him again. Fantastic job reframing doors, trimming our bathroom, installing shelves in our cabinetry and patch and replace drywall. He was able to start the job in a very reasonable amount of time, put in full days and someone you can definitely trust and enjoy having in your house. I contacted John after the move to my new condo. I work from home and really wanted to customize my office by incorporating a large, wooden desk top into my existing glossy white storage cabinets. I sent him several photos of "looks" I liked and together we designed a floating surface, attached to the wall, that hovers over my floor cabinets and is supported with a custom hairpin leg on the other end.

I'm very happy with the entire process, Johnny was helpful during the initial consultation, answering questions and offering suggestions to ensure I got everything on my wish list. His quote was detailed and fair and installation was completed sooner than expected.

I would highly recommend Pretty Handy Guy and will be using him again to design and build a custom island (with pull out table top) for the new kitchen.

John did some work for me in early January. He arrived on time. He patched one wall, painted it and fixed a bad paint job I had done on a door.

John is punctual, cheerful and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job installing new drywall to fix water damage in our old plaster ceiling, and efficiently fixed a sticky door. He then returned the following day (again right on time) to paint the ceiling and part of the wall. We will definitely be calling him again.

After being so satisfied with the workmanship John has done on other projects of mine, I asked him to make my fireplace look beautiful as it was quite an eye soar. We discussed various options and in the end agreed to go with something that was consistent with the look of my house and style. He did a magnificent job in transforming it into a look that I absolutely love. Everyone that comes in to visit compliments it too!!! You won't go wrong with hiring John, he is so talented.
