Pretty Handy Guy

We hired John, the Pretty Handy Guy, to complete several small jobs in our home. He hung several large paintings, installed a large closet rack, curtain rods and curtains, installed a garbage rack under our sink, among other things. He was extremely professional, clean, honest, and flexible from first contact to finishing the work. We highly recommend Pretty Handy Guy and will definitely call him again.

My porch was looking pretty tired, and it turns out some of the wood was starting to rot away. I couldn't afford to rebuilt the porch at this time, so John fixed the worst areas, sanded it down, and gave it a magnificent paint job. It really looks terrific and it was very affordable. John is a pleasure to work with, and really took the time to explain everything.

John was a pleasure to have work in our home. He is a true professional and skilled handyman. He takes care with his work and is very attentive to his clients and to the job at hand. He is organized so that all aspects of the job went along smoothly. We were so pleased with John's work that we have already asked about having more work done. We highly recommend John.

The Pretty Handy Guy was referred to us by our neighbours who were getting their home painted. We were in a pinch and needed work to be done on a specific date. Not only was he very accommodating but he did a great job and was really easy to work with. Add to that his fair rates and you can't go wrong! We look forward to working with him on future projects.

John painted my loft. Not an easy task given the amount of exposed duck work, beams, 18 foot walls and overly tricky areas to cover. However I was very pleased with his work.

Given the tricky nature of painting certain areas I was amazed at how skilled he was as although he did use taping in certain areas I noticed him doing alot of the work free hand.....the work came out very clean and seamless!

John is a professional, easy to get along with and trustful. I will have John do other work in my place in the near future and have already recommended him to other family members and friends. Many thanks John and I hope the bumps you took on your head from getting into the certain areas have healed!!

John did an amazing job building our wet bar. He gave us a few design ideas and suggested what materials to use as well as a couple choices as far as cabinet finishes, faucets and cabinet handles.

John is always pleasant and courteous. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs work done around the house.

This was our second time using the Pretty Handy Guy. John pays attention to detail and did a great job once again. Floors look great. He is personable and trustworthy and we would recommend him.

John did a fantastic job on our nursery! Did some small electrical work as well as preparing the walls, priming and painting. The nursery looks great! He left no mess behind, finished the job quickly and is a great guy to boot.

Had John over recently to do a bunch of painting, install some crown moulding and build me a window seat for the bay window in my kitchen. Everything came out beautiful. He really IS a pretty handy guy. I've hired him in the past and I've already booked him again for the future. Highly recommended!

John has done a lot of work for me on various occasions. He has patched, painted, replaced vanities and some plumbing. His work is meticulous. John is a perfectionist. He always covers up the floors and furniture and cleans up after the work is done. He is punctual and he always completes the work in a timely fashion. John is also very trustworthy. I have never hesitated to leave him alone in my home while I went to work. I highly recommend John to anyone who might need any type of painting, repair or small renovation done to their home.
