Pretty Handy Guy

Next time we need renovations or other work done around the house, I know who to call: "Pretty Handy Guy" John Etheridge. John put in laminate flooring, made plaster repairs and painted everything for the entire top floor of our house. He did great work for a reasonable price. He actually started the job when he said he would! He is great at problem solving (always necessary with renovations). The job was totally non-fuss for us; John took care of everything, including moving stuff from room to room as he worked. When we wanted to add some additional work into the project and when we made changes to paint colours, John graciously accommodated us. Not only is his work first-rate but John is also a really nice, easy going person to work with. Definitely our go-to guy for future work!

Pretty happy customers! So far John has been wonderful to work with. (We have a list of future jobs for him when his schedule allows.) He is very knowledgeable, accommodating, reliable, prompt, fast & efficient.

We booked John to paint 2 ceilings where there used to be popcorn. He responded quickly and gave us a satisfactory quote. His work was very well done, including clean-up, and he completed the job within 1 day. We are very happy with his work, and would happily use John's services again.

We have worked with John before and we were very happy to have to call on him again to help us finish winterizing our backyard bunkie. He did a fantastic job, especially when he had to turn some lemons into lemonade with a structure not ready for winterizing. He is trustworthy, always easy to deal with and friendly. John did an amazing professional job painting my stairwell going up to the third floor of my house. The walls are high in some areas and awkward to get at. Certainly not a project for me to tackle. He was kind enough to fit me in between jobs due to weather issues for his current outside work commitments. I would not hesitate to call John for any future jobs I may have and highly recommend him.

We recently had John come and refinish our deck and paint our basement floor. We found him to be very professional and careful with his work. He addressed all of our concerns and did a wonderful job for us. We will definitely call John again anytime we need any work done. Highly Recommend !

John has been my handyman for at least a decade. He always delivers with a friendly smile and a goofy joke. Strong work ethic, attention to detail and reasonably priced.

Our latest project was a refresh of some closets. They were completely gross and he made them look like new so we could list the house for sale.

We saw John working at a neighbour's house and approached him towards the end of that job to quote us on rebuilding out deck. After a pretty solid referral from our neighbours we asked John to schedule is in.

Overall, the work was done on time and on budget. It was also completed beyond our expectations, with alot of attention to even the smallest detail, like scribing deck boards around the foundation stones or cables we had running along the brick.

I wouldn't hesitate to hire John again in the future. Thanks for the amazing work

This is the second time I called John to do another project for us. He gave the quote and provided timeline when can he do the project and did it on the day he committed and on the budget he said. Our door looks like as if we have installed a new door, he did an awesome job. For any future projects I don’t have to shop around I will call John with confidence that he will do a great job no headache for us. Highly recommend him

John did a great job finishing and sprucing up various closets and cabinets and repainting our front deck to help get it ready for sale. Not only does John do a great job in implementing our vision, he offers great suggestions when we aren't sure exactly what we want to do.

John has left his mark throughout our home during the nearly 4 years we've owned it. I'm sure it will help us get top dollar when we sell, just like it did with our last home!
