We highly recommend Bevan and the team at Juniper Development Group. We recently completed a renovation that included interior, exterior and structural alterations to our property and our experience was outstanding. The scope included Interior: demo, drywall, flooring, custom doors + Exterior: balcony rebuild, retaining wall reconstruction, stamped concrete, & metal/glass railings.

One of the things that stood out was they were always on time, communicated well, and kept the job site tidy, an aspect that both us and our neighbours appreciated.

Bevan listened carefully to our ideas and offered helpful advice throughout the project. When unexpected issues arose, like the balcony and roof issue that was discovered, Bevan promptly addressed them, ensuring the repairs were done correctly which can be complicated on 100 year old homes.

What impressed us most was the level of care and attention to detail. Bevan managed the project efficiently, keeping us informed daily/weekly and made sure we stayed within budget. Even when a temporary tarp blew off during a storm, they were there within an hour, fixing it in the pouring rain.

Overall, our experience with Juniper was excellent. Bevan is a contractor who values communication, integrity, and quality work. We've already referred him to multiple friends/clients. He is now our go-to for everything house related.

I had a great experience with this company. They made sure our needs for a new floor, painting and other finishes were met. Any time I had a question, or needed something done, they responded right away.

The Juniper team did a great job on our second floor bathroom The team was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. When the unexpected cropped up [urgent joist repair in the bathroom floor], the Juniper team gave us options and made the unexpected repair in short order. The quality of the work, fit and finish, tiling everything is functional and looks great.

Our architects referred us to Bevan, Jacques and their Juniper team while we were planning an entire gut of our main floor, as well as some updates to our second floor and basement. We are so glad that they did because we couldn't have asked for a better experience! From our very first meeting, Bevan and Jacques were friendly, knowledgeable and highly communicative and collaborative, all traits that are not guaranteed when working with a contractor. For all these qualities and more we decided to go with them for the project and never regretted that decision!

Throughout the 5.5 month project Bevan called regularly with updates and photos of the progress. He also was quick to surface any unexpected issues found during demolition and suggest a variety of different solutions. He also did a great job keeping the peace with our neighbours, which anyone who has done a large scale renovation knows can be a tricky situation. My husband and I also came up with new ideas and add-ons as the project was underway and Bevan always found a way to accommodate these change requests and provide us timely estimates on any new scope of work.

Not only was Bevan's team super easy to work with and get a hold of, Bevan also ensured our project ran as quickly and efficiently as possible. This was extra important in our case since I found out I was pregnant with our first child a few months before the project kicked off. Bevan knew we had a hard deadline with the baby's arrival and managed to work his magic and get us home to a fully functioning home a few weeks after her birth! This even required him to drive all the way to Mississauga the day before we moved back to pick up a piece so we could have a working sink on the main floor (a must for any parent!).

Now that we have been back at home for three months now we can say with confidence we are so happy with the quality of work from Bevan and his team, too! If you want an honest, knowledgeable, communicative and collaborative team we highly recommend Juniper Group!

We needed several windows carefully removed and stored in preparation for a masonry company to rebuild our porch. Because we werent purchasing new windows, most companies wouldnt even give us a quote. Bevan Kanter was happy to help. He and his crew were pleasant, hard working, and efficient. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this company.

Bevan and his team were professional, prompt, and did excellent work. This was a small job compared to the kind of work they are capable of and we are glad we met them and hope to work with them again for larger jobs!

After waterproofing the walls we had to reframe the walls, rebuild the fireplace, replace the electrical, insulate, paint, fix windows, etc. We were given an end date and they beat it by 2 weeks. What I particularly liked was how they co-ordinated the trades in and out. A job well done.
